Usually the Pharmacy is very helpful in getting prescriptions I need on time. I had one they automatically filled in August but I never picked it up and it was put back. I went to order it on line and it said it was already picked up (because they ran it through my insurance) so they would not allow me to order it. So I called. I must have been on hold 30 min. Then the woman I speak to sees my prescription in the system and says done I just ordered it. She said pick it up this afternoon. I said could you be more specific after 2pm? After 3pm? She said come after 2pm. I send a friend to pick it up at 6pm as I can't. Prescription NOT READY. He had to wait another 15 minutes ( he was doing a favor for me so I didn't want to waste his time.) Anyway I hope it's a one time problem. They really need to get help to answer the phone.

Very disappointed in my local Walgreens. Used to love them but of late I am running into walls. I noticed today that I did not receive full refills for 30 days. Not such a problem if lower cost meds but today I realized that over the last month I was receiving 8 instead of 30 day supply of two of my $20 / 30 day supplies have only been partially filled charging me $60 to $80 in last month for these meds. Contacted the pharmacy tonight and was told that I had been enrolled in the program that reduces your visits to the pharmacy as well as that they had made a mistake but would unenroll me today. When asked if they would fill the full 30 days they said yes. When asked if I would have to make another payment tomorrow they said yes. They could not help how my insurance company requires payment. Spoke to a supervisor who repeated the same line. Got frustrated and ended conversation. Sooo... Thank you UHC pharmacy line. It took a little while but they put an override in the system which would not require another payment of copay tomorrow. 10 stars for that rep. Now I am thinking of pulling our business from there and giving another pharmacy a try.

The staff and pharmacy are great! They are always kind, professional and helpful. I have my dog's RX transferred from her vet to here and they always call and leave me a voicemail when it's ready for pick up. They are my go to! Thanks for being awesome!

The pharmacy here is horrible! I made an appt. for my kid to get his covid vaccine. So when we show up, the guy says, "oh we don't have any and they should have called you." Well you didn't Sir, and not only that you are now wasting my Saturday afternoon. So then he says that none of the walgreens in the area have the toddler dose but they called westlake and they have it. Well can you make me an appointment for this inconvenience? We only make appointment's on line or on the app, both of which WILL NOT let me make an appointment at westlake. F@ck, by this point I'm goddamn fuming. Hella unprofessional and the website/app is garbage. I'll avoid any type of walgreens if I can, they suck!!!

This Walgreens is the worst. They don't give a crap if you drop dead at the pharmacy. They'll call you and call you to harass you about refilling your prescription but heaven forbid you call their phone # because they never pick up the phone. Or you might be on hold for 45 minutes only to have your call be dismissed. Family just got discharged from a hospital stay, docs directed to go pick up the medicine at this pharmacy and they will not hand it over due to "conflicting instructions" even though she is gasping for air and looking terrible. DO BETTER, WALGREENS. I suggest you go somewhere other than this place full of uncompassionate incompetent pharmacy staff.

Horrible customer service bad attitude of worker at this location. Had to assist my folks to redeem coupons they had on the Walgreens app but couldn't figure it out. Ask the the cashier for help and all she said I don't know with an attitude. How can you not support your App that your company asked your customers to use. The only people at this location that knows customer service are the people at the Pharmacy. Your corporate office will be notified you can't treat customers especially your senior customers like this it's a horrible. Train your employees or don't put the bad ones as customer facing.

It's hard to rely on Walgreens when they don't answer the pharmacy calls but they can't have some things ready for you in a timely manner in store. So I'm suppose to go to the store, stand in line to ask them to refill my prescription and then come back in a day? It's close to home but that does not sound convenient. I've been on hold for 20 mins tonight trying to connect since I've lost the special number they've assign my particular prescription. I'd rather pick an online pharmacy that can ship it to me or a pharmacy that might be further but will pick up their phone.

Former employee of almost 30 years- If I could give negative stars I would. Basically understaffed or they are just incompetent. Especially the pharmacy which is strange because hands down that's the department that is going to make you the most money. MGT and corporate need to get their schedules in order and retain quality employees. If they need to pay them more then do it. This company has had record profits year after year. With CEO and board members receiving bonuses. When Walgreens went from a family owned business to a corporation, upper mgt, CEO and board members just don't know how to do their job.

Please do not expect the pharmacy department to take your calls if they are busy. After holding the line for at least 5 minutes, the phone will ring so you believe they will pick up your call. Instead you hear 'click' and the recorded music continues until another round then another... This goes on for another round then the line will continue to ring endlessly. Pharmacy staff need to take customers' calls because perhaps customers are calling in need of very urgent reasons! The pharmacy management needs to address this issue as it's very important, may be the difference between life and death. Not everyone can just drive over and speak to them in

This Walgreens will make you go insane. Twice they have handed me the wrong medications and then insisted that they were right. Another time they insisted that I didn't have a medication on record at all, even though it was my third refill at that exact location. When they can't figure something out in the computer, or locate a medication in the fridge, they immediately switch to blaming the customer. I have seen this happen there time after time. My final straw was when I looked at my covid vaccine record and noticed that they put the sticker in the wrong place and didn't put a date on it at all. I had to write it in myself after being turned away at a restaurant for an incomplete card. Despite this being the closest pharmacy to my house. I don't trust them with my health and have move my scripts away.
