Discrimination
I visited this USPS location on 06/14/2024 between 3:20pm to 3:58pm and a USPS employee name’s “JOE” he was very rude and disrespected me without any reason, he treated me with a discrimination way .
I was wanting to make 3 separate money orders with a different amounts , and I asked “JOE” nicely “is the money order has 1 year to get expired ?” He was answering me very rude and with insult and he said “100 year..” .
He made the 1st money order , but the 2nd money order I wasn’t sure for the amount and I told him “you can serve the next customer, because I will need little time to look in my phone for the correct amount number that I will need to be in the 2nd money order, and he answered me rudely and louder said “…go go there and check….and when you are ready come back one time…” .
And after he finished with the other customer and I backed to him he was very nervous and he told me loudly “….You make me confusing….” And he left the desk and refused to serve me !
I got really angry, and I talked to another employee she was woman and I asked her for the manager contact and she refused to give me the email or the phone number, and she asked me to leave my phone number to let the manager call me later, and she was trying to defense her co worker “JOE”….
“JOE” was treating the other customers normal, but he discriminated me very bad without any reason !

The staff is what makes this place really great. The person at the counter helped me pick the right type of shipping and the best size of box to minimize cost. They're incredibly helpful and professional, even if the line is long.
Note: USPS charges you for tape! If you don't want to pay, then either bring tape or tape your packages at home. Even if you have to buy tape, it's still often cheaper than UPS or FedEx.

I think it would be beneficial to to us all if you maybe answered the phones once in a while. If you’re not going to answer the phone, maybe do your job correctly so we wouldn’t have to call? Idk just a suggestion. I’m sure nobody will do a single thing since every single USPS employee is incompetent.

This is the BEST post office. They are super organized and Ron and Edwin are so friendly and wonderful to work with there. Rarely would you think of writing a review for a post office, but I really wanted to in this case as the staff goes above and beyond!

I always come to this post office whenever I want to send out any packages and the process is always super efficient despite there only being one gentleman manning the desk everytime I've shown up! I've come at all hours in the afternoon and it's never super busy - I've only had to wait for at most one person whenever I'm here. FYI, priority labels are free but you do have to ask for it!

I dropped a package with tape getting loose from the package, and they don't provide tape. I don't think the package was shipped when I was trying to return an item from Amazon and haven't heard back for a week.

One of the best post office locations in SF! The gentleman working behind the counter is a super juggler: efficient, courteous, and kind. There were several people who weren't prepared when they got to the front of the line, but he still treated them professionally while helping others and keeping the line going. Impressive!

This office is not enforcing their mask policy I would advise elderly people and people who are auto immune compromised to avoid or have somebody else go in there -- this is not a safe space.

Zero stars. Today during Covit-19, a long line, and rude ladies not wanting to be there. I didn't want to be there either but I did not appreciate their rudeness. Thanks, but no thanks.

I haven't shipped anything in years. I just went in with my Christmas gifts and I have to call out Edwin, who was absolutely amazing. Both people at the counter were super fast.

I did not like this post office. I went to get stamps at 4:40 and it was closed. They’re supposed to close at 5:00!
