Came for passport during walk in time listed on portal bc the next appointment was months away. Guess I should have checked the reviews before and was told they already did the walk ins. Instead went a bit further out the city to Skyline college passport office in San Bruno. They got it done the same day

TLDR: Warning -- if you come here, expect to be treated like garbage. Postal worker Kim needs to undergo serious customer service training. You’re better off going to another postal service office if you can!
My husband made a passport appt for our 18-month-old daughter through the USPS website. We arrived with our daughter, the necessary paperwork (even her photo!) and our checkbook to expedite the process on the day of the appt. Unfortunately, there was only one staff member working. We sympathized that the USPS is having staffing shortages and budget cuts. So we waited patiently in line for 40 minutes. When we got to the front, we were told we didn’t have an appointment. We gave her our name, phone number and even the email with the confirmation of the appointment. She didn’t even bother to look any of the information up on the computer and told us that we didn’t have an appointment. We asked her to look up the information but she became irate and started yelling “No Appointment! No Appointment!” so loudly that she scared my soundly sleeping daughter wide awake. When my husband showed her the email from USPS with the confirmation of the appt, she said she “didn’t know what that was.” She continued to yell at us “No appointment” and was raising her voice. I asked her to calm down and she continued to yell at us "no appointment". There was no reasoning with her and she wasn't going to help us. I was appalled that she would treat a family with a baby so poorly. She should be ashamed of herself. I blame the USPS funding for being cut so that offices are so short staffed. But mostly, I blame postal worker Kim’s mother for raising her so poorly. Go somewhere else for your postal needs or at the minimum avoid postal worker Kim. BTW, this happened on Mother's Day weekend. Such a shame.

I showed up at 9:30 am for passport walk ins. They said they had already taken 2 walk ins and would not do anymore. Both Jose and Ms Kim were extremely rude, and couldn't even explain where this policy came from. I pointed them at the website information which clearly states that they take walk ins from 9:30 to 10am, but Ms Kim kept insisting she'd already done two today so was not doing anymore. Absolutely incredible.

We came a bit late for walk-in time. We are totally okay with not getting the service, but Ms. Kim's attitude when answering our questions was so rude.

Don’t even wanna give a star I went for my passport the lady that helped me was super rude with so much attitude . Didn’t even get my passport done that’s how bad and rude she was I think if you’re going to work somewhere where you interact with people then at least be nice !

Their website has been down for weeks and they do not pick up the phone, regardless of what time I call. It is difficult to make a passport appointment in advance, so I decided to just go in during the walk in hours. This is where I had the displeasure of meeting Kim.
Kim wouldn’t accept my papers. Kim won’t answer my questions. Kim won’t adhere to their website’s times and policies. She informed me that they only take 2 walk ins a day, and when I asked where I could find that information online, she “didn’t know”. She was extremely rude and uncooperative. Reading other reviews, this seems to be a common experience.
I don’t understand how a government entity can be so dysfunctional and useless but here we are. I’m thrilled to see my tax dollars hard at work funding the likes of Kim, click clacking at her computer and contributing nothing to society. Keep up the good work!

Made a 1245 appointment for a new passport for my infant. Arrived at the post office at 1244 to be told that the person who does passports just left for lunch. Unapologetic and rude staff. What is the point of having an appointment system if no one is going to honor it?

I loathe going to the post office BUT have had really good experiences at this location. Staff is really helpful & courteous, and they have a fun selection of forever stamps.

Went to go get passport renewal for walk-in. Asian lady with glasses only processed one renewal in 30 minutes. She was also extremely rude to everyone and yelling. Worst customer service ever
