Unhelpful and incompetent. Just use a different branch.

Bear in mind that for passports without an appointment, only two walk-ins are allowed, so spots are taken as early as 8am... Staff is kind and helpful. You can also get your passport pictures taken here and staff will make copies of your documents so you dont need to bring copies (but it's nice if you do come prepared). Once the post office opens, walk-ins are to enter through the hallway towards the blue door at the end of hallway and line-up. If no attendant comes to meet you at 9am sharp, ring the bell (black button on the left of blue door).

Spent 20m waiting in the wrong line, they don’t tell you there are specific lines for different services

This review is for the fingerprinting service. Staff were nice, but their machine was down and they have no idea when it will be replaced. They should really update the website and their fingerprinting sign in the front lobby to say it’s temporarily unavailable. I went to the Oakland location instead and they completed the scans for me in under 10 mins.

We were told to leave a near empty post office with five employees because we didn’t have an appointment to submit a passport application. It’s a pain It’s sad our federal tax dollars go to such an inefficient and unhelpful organization.

Commuted for 1 hour there for fingerprints services but was told their machine was down. Why can't they just update the information on the website? Now need to go to Sunnyvale or Oakland. I tried to call before I go to make sure I won't waste my time again but they never pick up. USPS :)

i was here a few months ago and the ladies were literally so rude, like sorry you’re so old and hate me or whatever but cmon now. also, they’d all make fun of my handwriting on the passport and kept rejecting it over and over again. all three ladies should be fired and maybe seek marriage and/or a retirement home.

Came here for fingerprints and their machine has been broken for a long time. I was told I had to go to either Oakland or Sunnyvale. If you are trying to call them, don’t bother, they will never pick it up. I asked them why they couldn’t jus pick up the call and tell people their machine is broken and they just stared at me.

I think the staff here is awesome, the lines moves quickly, and it is an orderly neighborhood post office. They also do passports, which is handy. But look out for the inappropriate cleaning guy. Can someone please train him? He just comes up behind female customers at the counter and starts sweeping behind them, laughing to himself. Weird and gross. Jus. Stop.

Kudos to the Black woman who attended to me. She should be commended for her excellent performance of work. She was efficient and kind… However, I had a problem with the Latina/Hispanic woman who was kind of discriminatory. She would not even smile or say anything while I approached her. But she was all smiles and extra nice to the “white couple” who came ahead of me. While I was standing in line, she even told me in a loud voice, “Stay at the back, you’re too early.” She should be trained on proper customer service, without regard to race or color.
