The employees are nice and welcoming. The issues I have stem from how some of them handle packages. I gave them a small box to send ground this morning, and after the employee put the label on it, threw it behind him into the big bin like he was throwing a basketball into a hoop. No wonder the contents of my small business' packages arrive to my customers in shambles most times. Disappointing.

Staff are…., lines are manageable most days, everything you could want in a post office is there. Plenty of mailboxes outside.

Generally a very good post office that takes care of lines quickly (mostly because we gays are always on the go and know what we want) and there is a lot of self-service supplies available as opposed to some city post offices where almost everything is locked up or depleted.
My only complaint is the lack of empathy for older clientele who struggle with computers. My client wanted to renew his PO Box and pay for another 6 months and the lady at the counter just kept repeating "ITS PAID TIL SEPTEMBER! GO TO THE WEBSITE!" Well, that's only 2 months away and the rate is $108/6 mo. Why can't we pay for his extension now? And I said probably three times that he gets frustrated using their website. He has renewed this way dozens of times including a few months ago. She could've made our lives a lot easier by processing a basic renewal.

It will make little difference because it’s a government agency. But, you shouldn’t be in a hurry if you cine here. The last three times I’ve tried, they’ve had one person serving and a line. It is not efficient. It’s a great example of how government agencies are the last resort.

haven’t had any issues here, they are a bit slow on employees but has nice attitude.

The staff at the 18 th street post office is really nice, especially when you get to know them. They even greet you by name.I always look forward to seeing them as I deliver packages to them for shipping almost every day.

Came here to pay for & deliver a letter going domestic. Staff was really friendly. It cost $1.44.

Bought a bunch of dried goods in Chinatown and on a visit to Castro we decided to ship back everything rather than carrying on the plane. The staff was super friendly and even assisted in packing. Made my life easy! Miss living in SF!
