I have referred clients to Sam Lee when buying a home - one client in particular responded that it was a new process, and he was overwhelmed by how much information and paperwork was involved, but Sam walked him through what to expect and continued to check in with this client throughout the whole process, "Sam made it easy and was a pleasure to work with." Sam Lee is the only mortgage lender I refer to because he knows his business and understands his clients needs, and he won't abandon them!

I have been working with Sam for the last three weeks, the rates were not in my favor until now and he jumped on it and locked it 2 days ago. Sam closed my FHA refi deal today. All the while he kept in touch to give me updates and when the time was right he delivered. He closed this deal with everything that I wanted for my loan. I could not have gotten a better deal anywhere. Believe me, I tried.

After filling out an online request form for interest rates (at the time I thought I was going to get access to the most current interest rates), I found myself getting many calls from different entities trying to get me the best deal. I kept on ignoring the calls because we were already working with someone else. Sam was persistent and didn't stop calling. After a couple days, I decided to call him back and let him know that my husband and I were working with a different broker. Very politely he asked me a few questions and to my surprise I realized I was not so knowledgeable about this entire process. Sam had gone through the entire process in full detail, explaining everything to me in a way that I understood. He didn't talk to me in "banker" talk, it was in a language where I clearly understood everything. He was honest, up front, and ethical. I learned so much from him and appreciate all the good and honest information he provided. Sam is extremely knowledgeable in this field and WILL find the best deal for anyone that he works with. As a matter a fact, he wants you to get other opinions because he knows that his style of honesty and integrity will gain him true clients in the end. Even though our timeline hindered us from being able to consider other options, Sam continued to speak with us and educate us well after the time we told him we would not be able to work with him. We will definitely use Sam in the future and I have already recommended him to family and friends.

I must have gotten over a hundred flyers in the mail about refinancing my FHA loan. I really wanted to do it, but was hesitant because I had a bad experience from a mortgage broker who was padding the loan with extra fees when I first purchased the house (this guy was a recommendation from a friend), and the person I ended up getting my first loan from doesn't handle FHA streamlining. So I was reading all these flyers with interest but many of them listed impossible rates (come on, I read the news, 3.5% is not going to happen!) and all used different terminology so it was like comparing apples to oranges. When I got Sam Lee's flyer in the mail, it was like a breath of fresh air. It actually made sense and was written in straigntforward English. I immediately had a strong feeling Sam would be great to work with, and after talking with him that's what happened. He made a confusing process simple. If I didn't have a certain piece of info, he told me exactly where to get it or just asked for the contact info of my insurance agent, etc. so he could call them on my behalf. When it came time to sign the papers, he offered to send a notary to my house or to meet me at a nearby Starbucks, which is what we ended up doing. He quoted me a rate from the beginning that was the same rate on all the papers I signed - seems like a no-brainer, but that's not what happened last time! I would highly recommend Sam and will definitely contact him next time I need a mortgage - when I trade up to my next house!
