My CA lifeline phone experience With Truconnect is a disaster( & is ongoing). The Phone (C7 stratus) it self is dimmest dark( extremely difficult to see or operate for that matter, has not brightness control), Phones cannot be unlocked EVER but can only use truconnect SIM card period( It should be ILLEGAL if not), which forces you to use their sim and service gouging lifeline patrons. I was issued a different area code other than my county or usual area code made it appeared like SPAM number. MY Account app WILL NOT and does not recognize my number provided( Even their customer service agents could not do it), TWO trouble tickets has been created. I cannot call out NOR can I receive ( phone/ SMS). I am told to wait for resolution which may take several business days. Why CA lifeline programs cannot moderate THESE GREEDY PROVIDERS?

Was a good company I dont know what happened but if I could give a half star I wouldExtorting me for data I was already awarded for transfer of my ACP benefits to their company.(i even sent them the letter they sent me telking ne the transfer was complete).....14 gb turned into 6gb and I hadvyo purchase more data if I wanted it while my second application was approved 3-5 days avg wait....They actually think it's ok to tell me I'm not in their system with ACP so i have to apply again and no they can't give me a cpl gigs of data while I wait for approval again. Even after explaining i lost $900 in income due to being cutoff at 6 gb and trying to get this resolvedAt one point after explaining everything to a agent she literally asked me and I quote " so who is your carrier now?" ??Then.....(below is my note to them)Their agent just turned off my data I didn't tell her to do that I thought I was thinking about switching carriers because you guys would be unfair because you guys gave me the ACP plan you transfer my number my account you send me an email saying you did it and it was complete and then all of a sudden now you guys can't find it in your system all the while the FCC has you registered as my ACP client I have emails right here showing it but she tells me that she can't even give me data to fill out the until I fill out the application but they won't let me fill out a second ACP application system it's somewhere in somebody's system because it won't let me do a duplicate applicate and nobody's helping me out here with data and I've lost over a thousand dollars in revenue for my home business because I didn't have data last week so I told her I was thinking about going to another client and she just turned off my service
