Me and my 3 year old son were verbally attacked by the worker in the store this evening as my son was taking too long looking at candy and picking out his candy. Absolutely disgusting behavior. As long time residents of the area we will not be going back here.

Went here to get a beer after going to green earth across the street, for local eggs. Grabbed a beer went to the counter to pay, set the beer down as well as the eggs I was carrying, but way off to the side. He taps the register and announces something like $16 dollars, and I said , $16 dollars for a beer?!?! He points to my eggs, which is a brand he clearly doesn’t sell, trying to charge me for eggs I bought across the street. Finally he gets it, and says something around $8 dollars, for just the beer. I wasn’t very happy

The worker thought I was taking too long to think and kicked me out at 12:50, they claimed they want to close the shop at 1AM. And half an hour later, they are still opened.
Unacceptable service.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST MARKET EVER!!DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS.Came in tonight for some drinks with my friends after going to the bars. After grabbing the drinks and a few snacks, we headed over to the register to pay. My friends paid before us, (meaning my boyfriend and I were next in line to pay,) and our friends waited for us outside. As my boyfriend and I headed out, the so called "manager," stopped us and asked for the beverage we had picked up. I was so confused on what he was asking, to which he specified and asked where my beverage was. I then realized that he was insinuating that I was stealing. I was appalled, and shocked that he would make such accusation. I explained to him how my friends had paid for it, in which he demanded, and seeing where the beverage was. I asked my friends to please return back with the bag, (full of items) and a receipt, to which we showed the manager. The manager still exclaimed, and wanted to know where that beverage was. I told him to never assume or accuse anybody of theft, if he had not witnessed it himself.I too have been a manager of an establishment, and knew that I could not accuse anybody of theft if I had not witnessed it myself, or had any prove. He kept stating over and over that he could see what had happened on the camera which he refused to show me because he knew he was wrong.All it would have taken was for the manager to apologize for his mistake. Which he did not.I was racially profiled. Period.The manger had no other reason to do what he did. And as you could imagine, it ruined my entire night and made me completely upset of being wrongfully accused of such thing.

I'm saddened to write this, Transfer has been my go to corner store for decades. But since the new owners took over this place took a dive.They have trouble keeping a healthy stock, switched over all their brands and just don't carry the things I've been used to buying for years now all the while increased prices on everything.The people working there aren't unfriendly, but they certainly aren't friendly.The old owners were awesome, chatty, had a local game on, it was a warm friendly place with a good selection. Looks like that's all over.

Had to post this publicly because I watched a young girl get verbally attacked and threatened by the 3 men working here when I went to buy peanuts, she asked to talk to the owner to resolve what was happening and they kept threatening her. She asked for his number and they wouldn’t give it or call him. When she called the number on Google maps it rang in the store and they laughed at her. Never coming back here ever, just reported it to the better business bureau

Slimy, nasty, rude and disrespectful. The owner and employees lie, cheat and steal from customers and were caught on video doing so. Take your business somewhere else.
