“I originally was going there for a regular maintenance and wheel alignment but later found out had many issues with my car. The service tech, Mark, was really informative about the problems they found and details about the costs and work that had to be done. I know most people will say it’s a gimmick to make the customer spend more, but my car had over 90k miles and I never had anyone do a detail checkup. It has been over two weeks and definitely feel the car drives better and smoother. 10/10 would go back for any future services.”

I've called for simple advice, I've called needing small odd jobs, I've called needing tires mounted, and I've called him for bigger jobs. Tamm always delivers - he actually cares about his customers and their cars. Him and staff know their way around a wide variety of cars, too. Pretty impressive.
Prices are always fair and he's always super nice. I like to think I know at least a little bit about cars and I've never seen an upsell from the guy. Just a good and honest mechanic. My friends and I all have brought our cars by at some point, and we've never left disappointed.”
“I had a small repair done over my left rear wheel. I was a little disappointed with the final outcome of the first repair as the 3 panels that needed to come together in a smooth plane were off on different angles and a detail line did not line up with the one on another panel. I took it back in. The staff were accommodating, said we will fix it, we warranty our work.
The 2nd repair fixed some of the problem but didn't really get the surfaces all in the same smooth plane. I decided this is as good as it will get for this repair. This was an insurance paid job, so I understand that the perfection that I hoped for is not achievable at these prices.
I will say, I am very able to see these types of things, while most people are not, and this repair was in a tricky spot to get the pieces to blend, so I don't fault the body shop. This is likely the normal outcome for most body shops. The paint work and finishing are top notch and I am very happy with that. The staff were very easy to work with and timely with final delivery both times. I have had other repairs done here that I was completely happy with, I would recommend this shop to anyone.”

Many thanks to Rica who set up an appointment for an estimate, and patiently walked me through the procedure she’d be taking with my insurance company. After agreeing to everything I dropped my car off expecting them to keep it 4 or 5 days, but to my surprise the job (fender bender) only took 2 days. “Initial communication was through Yelp's "Get Pricing" quote. Sokol responded within 48 hrs. Which was a plus! First time taking my car in for service in SF, due to a change of ownership to the last place I usually take my car to. (It was in the East Bay) I came across this business through searching on Yelp. I feel like his quote was reasonable. Came in for motor oil & break fluid maintenance. Dropped my car off at 10:30am & got my car back at 4:30pm the same day! I also like that Sokol provides a list of detailed recommendations/reminders, because I'm definitely not a car person. lol. Thanks Sokol!”

“I was stranded in Santa Rosa when, unexpectedly, there was an ABCmalfunction as indicated on the dash display, and my car's steering was disabled. It was 40 miles to the dealership in San Rafael, California. AAA's tow truck (Norcal Supreme Towing) was there in about a half hour. Loading my Mercedes onto the flat bed and tying it down took less than 15 minutes and we were on our way with me as a passenger in the cab. The driver and I had an extremely enjoyable conversation on the way back. I've had this experience more than a few times in the past and it has always been awful. This time, however, and unbelievably, I found myself enjoying the entire experience, awed by the driver's ability to do his job quickly and efficiently as well as his exuberant personality and friendly attitude. The repairs were such that you couldn't really tell that anything happened (which is the intended result, right?). Service was fairly quick and the detailing was appreciated as well. “You know, places like these never get good reviews. Everyone is already pissed off because getting towed sucks. That being said, they are just doing their job, dude. I got mine towed today. I was walking lost all around the city. My friend, thank goodness, got hold of these people. He said it would be over $600. When I arrived, I took my number ( do not forget to print your ticket number at the entrance or you will waste valuable waiting time ) and was greeted by the lovely Leela. She was so polite, respectful and had such a nice attitude that I immediately felt better about my bad situation. She informed me that I only needed to provide $100. That was such a huge relief. I was also worried because I only have an out-of-state ID right now. This worried her, but she worked with me and we solved the issue with something else that I had on-hand! She was so amazing! Thanks to her, I have my car back and feel like I was rescued by Leela. I am so glad she gave me her name because she truly deserves a glowing review. Women like her that probably get yelled at all day and stay that kind are such an inspiration ( yes I am a dude but some women are my hero's it's true ) and I will strive to be half the person that she is. It takes a lot to stay that nice in a place like that with all those raging people that probably treat her badly. Thank you so much Leela I hope you get the recognition that you deserve in this career and get treated as well as you treat others! Have a great day.”
