I recently visited Top Dog and had a fantastic experience. The staff was friendly and attentive,making sure to listen to my requests for my dog’s grooming. They did an excellent job grooming my dog. Also I was impressed by gentle attitude. Highly recommend Top dog for anyone looking for dog grooming services. Also, there are lots of cute puppy stuff.

Top Dog is hands down the best dog grooming spot in Inner Richmond! You won't find a better combination of excellent service, reasonable prices, and a warm, inviting ambiance anywhere else.

I've been a loyal customer of Joanne for three years. My dog looks noticeably neater and cleaner after an appointment. I know that Joanne regularly attends grooming conferences all the way to Korea to further harness her skills and keep updated in the industry even though she is already one of the most experienced groomer in the Bay Area.
She also gives best advices/recommendations for taking care of my dog. As an example, she noticed that Eevee started having allergic reactions before I did and I was able to quickly take an action thanks to her. Eevee completely trusts her and adores her. I 100% recommend!

We have been here about a dozen times, and each visit Joanne is friendly, on-time, and attentive to our needs. She is a very skilled dog groomer, too. We are so happy to have found Top Dog!
Tip: There is often available free parking on 14th between Geary & Clement, but note that you may have to enter from the Clement side as I believe 14th is closed for turns coming from Geary.

I've been taking my extremely timid Havanese to Top Dog for over a year now, and I've only had excellent service. Because my dog is so anxious, it's super helpful that they groom only one dog at a time (less noise and stress for the dogs). The past places I've taken him to had several hairdryers going at the same time...the noise was pretty unbearable even for me, so I can't imagine how terrible it must be for the dogs. My dog's hair also mats easily, and they've been really helpful by giving him a cut that is cute and grows out nicely. Thank you, Top Dog, for taking such good care of my shy little guy.

I've been to Top Dog a handful of times, and am in love with the teddy bear cut that my toy poodle's been getting. He looks extra fluffy, exactly the way I like it. Setting up an appointment is super easy, I do it through their website online. Customer service is also great, the ladies are always sweet and friendly. Obviously they do an amazing job and my pup loves it. Highly recommend Top Dog Boutique!

Our little pup is a rescue and has severe anxiety being around new humans or being away from us, but has now successfully gone to Top Dog several times now for full grooming sessions. We couldn't be happier and will keep coming back. Very friendly, local ownership & you can tell they genuinely love and appreciate dogs here. Would definitely recommend!

OMG, our 6 month old Mini Golden Doodle looks super cute! Thank you!!! And thank you for your patience with my 3 year old son, Joanne! I had to bring my son back to try and convince him you weren't his mom!!! Lol!! But my plan back-fired and you were super nice, patiently kind and thoughtful with him. That was a first for sure!!!! Anyway, Zeke is looking like a million bucks, thanks to you!!!

She's great at poodle hairs! Joanne is amazing at her work and she has been doing this for awhile now, I have been going to this location since she came back from LA. She has been taking good care of 4 of my dogs (all at once) and plus two more pups before - they all Looked adorable! I definitely recommend this place to everyone. Store has lots of cute outfits, dog foods and snacks. (Organic ones) she's very accommodating even though she is booked out. Oh and her dog is super awesome always welcome us. Anyways!!

Best groomer in town. My dog loves Joanne and doesn't want to leave the place when I come to pick her up! This is my first time adopting a dog and Joanne gives me great tips for maintaining my dog's health too. I also know that she goes back to Korea for conferences so that she stays on top of recent styles and trends. She goes above and beyond and I will be going back to her regularly. So thankful that I found her
