I ordered on September 21st 1 suit and 1 dress. These were to be done by 12/28/2023 for an event that I was attending. I made it clear that I wanted the inner lining to be as red "as the fires of hell itself". I made this description so that it would be clear in his mind just how red to make it.I was assured by the representative (Scott Hess) that this would not be a problem and that the suit would be done "Sometime early December" for final fittings and adjustments. So I paid a deposit of half for both items when we met and looked forward to getting the items.After a lot of non-communication from Mr. Hess, we eventually set up an appointment for November 29th for a fitting of both garments before potential alterations. I agreed. Mr. Hess was sick at the time and told me a few hours before our meeting that he would not be able to make it. Figuring there was still enough time, then it isn't an issue. I waited until the following week expecting him to say he was ok now and to make arrangements as he said he would contact me the week of the 3rd. Nothing. So I contacted him again and we made an appointment for the following week, which I had to cancel due to back issues. So I called him and talked with him around the 14th of December. He said the suit had not come in yet.Wait.. I thought it came in and we were setting up a fitting.. Apparently not. He said that when the suit does come in, in order to meet the deadline, he would need to send it back to the factory to sew the button holes.Now, please note that no adjustments were measured. He did take measurements (though I doubt that he took into account a bigger leg on the left side due to an accident, but he said he did), but this was measurements he needed to do when I was wearing the suit jacket. In order to meet the deadline of the 28th, he would send it back to the factory and guesstimate where the button holes were. I was already starting to panic, so I agreed to it figuring that it may ill fit a bit, but it still would be a great suit and the dark red lining with the dark blue suit would have been very pleasing to my sense of style.So today, 12/26/2023 at 2pm, I just had a fitting done. First time seeing the jacket. Light blue lining. Baby light blue. If I'm paying this much for a custom suit (around 5k), this is unacceptable to me. So now, I have no suit for my event and I'm flabbergasted that he didn't even check the suit before he brought it to me to show and fit. Also, the dress ordered was miscut. She specifically asked to make it to the knees and it was down to her feet. Also, there was no shape to the dress. It resembled to me a cheap medieval tunic with a zipper in the back.I wanted to like this company. I really did. I was hoping to get a company I could count on and who I could slowly build my collection with. If he would have offered something (For example, a good chunk off the price and free changing of the liner), I may have been willing to take it. But all he could do was complain about how this mess up effected him.Dude, I don't need to hear how this is effecting you that your company made you lose around 8k in a sale (the dress was around 1.5k). What I needed was a way to work this around and to make me feel valued even with this mistake. But he didn't do it. So now, I write this. Don't use this company. This incident isn't limited to just this sales person or the Harrisburg, PA store. This is a company wide problem because the lining for the order was clearly red, it got submitted early enough and they took this long and down to the wire for what.. The hopes that I would just say "fuck it" and get it anyway?Buyer beware. This is not a company I would personally ever trust again. They not only lost the 2 sales from today, but future planned sales from me.

At this point, I have worked with Louisa several times and I am never disappointed with the end results. My clothes look great, and I always get compliments on my outfits.

I have bought custom for many years. On the recommendations of my co-workers, I tried Tom James when my old custom clothing company closed due to COVID. It has been an absolute nightmare and the worst retail experience I have ever had. It has been about a year and I still have not gotten my clothes. For the first 2 fittings, everything was wrong -- I could not even pull the pants all the way up. Worst of all, they will not refund me despite the prolonged delays and inability to get sizes right. For the price they charge, you really need to go elsewhere.

Whit Behrens and the Tom James team are excellent clothiers and tailors. Their service is top notch and convenient, the garments (suits, wool and microfiber slacks, dress shirts, coats, and more) are high quality, and the prices are reasonable. I've been a satisfied client of Whit's and the Tom James team since 1996. I recommend them highly.

I love the way a well made shirts and pants feel. It's impossible to go get a shirt that fits correctly anywhere. If I get a suit from anywhere else I have to basically buy a second jacket because if the pants fit the jacket will be too tight.I wear their short sleeve button ups most weekends, long sleeve bottom ups and slacks at work and suits for more formal occasions when I want to impress. It's great having an exact fit and choosing all the cool extras and details.Well worth the time.

I used to get custom shirts made & didn't think that I could afford them anymore until Matt Tweed stopped by our office one day and explained that I could. Several of us decided to work with Matt and what a great experience it has turned out to be. The clothes are of the highest quality and beautifully made here in the US! Matt has a great eye for detail & more importantly listens. Matt has been to both my office and home numerous times & is always the upmost professional. Clothes fit perfectly and look & feel great. I can't recommend Matt Tweed highly enough!

Excellent facilities. OMG views from the 49th floor! Came here to use the coworking space (I was traveling from my home location in New York) as part of my 'use anywhere' privileges and was pleasantly surprised. Great coffee and I like the bar and booth seating. Lots of sunshine streaming through which was such a difference from other dated and dank places I'd tried in the city. Staff were really warm also and helpful with my printing needs. This is a hidden secret - don't want lots of people to become members because it feels like an upmarket private club right now!
