8/2/2023 I was waiting for my son in the next door shop and came to see this cute store.. Looked like a lot of cute items in the window.. Loved seeing the waving cat.. On the front door sign, stated a request for customers to have a mask on., Found a mask, went to open the door and it was locked. Hours did state it was open.. If I'm in the area in the next month, I will try again.!

Wow this shop is so beautiful inside. It's a little bit of Japanese and also pan Asian. There're beautiful traditional Japanese decors, art, and unique trinkets from local artists (mugs, cups, that are modern with Japanese influence), beautiful unique tea from Taiwan wow (the tangerine puerh tea is beautiful!), and friendly shop owner. Highly recommend

Tokyo Futon and Tea has some lovely items to purchase and browse. From buckwheat hull pillows, to fragrant teas, futons, cabinets and more - Tokyo futon is a magical spot to pick up a unique gift for a friend/and or loved one. I first learned about this place after admiring the stunning silk pillows that a friend brought over to our place. I adored the exquisite silk design on the pillows and I was particularly excited to learn that they were each filled with buckwheat. Buckwheat pillows are wonderful in that they are extremely moldable, there are no toxins and they're great at controlling body temperature. Though you can definitely score cheaper loose leaf tea elsewhere and you may have trouble swallowing some of the prices attached to their vintage and newer furniture - Tokyo Futon is still worth a visit. It's a calming spot full of gorgeous fabrics and well made futon furniture. Trust.

This little store is fun to look through and sells a very pretty blooming tea that is also very fragrant. I love it and definitely recommend.
