My nails are always painted meticulously after a trip to the Nail Hall. I do regular polish (not gel) and it lasts for about 3 weeks which is awesome and never happens elsewhere. Love the vibe, decor, wine on tap, and friendly staff. My go-to nail spot in SF for sure. Love the Nail Hall.

Comfortable, clean, professional and skilled. I have been here at least five times for mani/pedi. Love that it's doesn't smell like toxic chemicals

This was done 24 hours ago, had to remove my cuticles at home. People are nice but the quality is not good and it's quite pricey too

Kind service, great location! Be warned: if you want your feet scrubbed, it’s $80 for a pedicure that would be $30 anywhere else. This wasn’t communicated until I was halfway through the service, and confused about why I wasn’t offered a foot soak. Won’t be coming back, sadly.Services: Pedicure

I went in recently for the Signature manicure and pedicure and was less than impressed. The good: - Relaxed, modern environment - Premium non-toxic polishes - Manicure tools arrived sanitized and sealed - They use basins for pedicures, which are more sanitary than jetted tubs - relatively gentle on my cuticles, which is always welcome and the major reason I wanted to try this spot out. - Oil massage and hot towels! The not so good: - Armchairs instead of reclining massage chairs. This is a preference thing, but I find it hard on my back to be in a chair that doesn't recline. - manicure and pedicure done simultaneously. Also a preference thing. I don't find it relaxing to have both done at the same time. I also end up having to twist my upper body around in a way that feels uncomfortable. It seems more salons are doing this now though to save time for the client. - I was offered a few drink options and chose a kombucha, but was informed at checkout that it would be added to my total. Most other salons I've been to, the offered drinks are on the house. I'm down to pay if I know about it up front though. The bad: - The polish job. Unfortunately the worst part of the experience. Some flooding in my cuticle and color on my skin that wasn't cleaned up afterwards. Uneven top coat application and no wrapping of tips. The pedicure was worse, with bubbles in the top coat. Bottom line, I think the bad polish job tanked what was shaping up to be a slightly above average experience. At $90 for a mani-pedi, the final result matters.

Enjoyed my quickie pedi today. Here's my experience: friendly greeting, beautiful nail polish selection, comfy chairs, beverage in hand, great nail tech, fun music, wifi, and good vibes at The Nail Hall. I am a super fan of this Healthy Nail Salon that uses less toxic products, provides safer practices, better ventilation, so I can breathe easy knowing getting my nails done here is healthier for me, their employees, and the planet! I'll be back ;)

There seems to be something wrong with their polishes. Both my friend’s nails and my nails kept drying with small holes in the polish. The nail tech was very nice and redid them. However, my friend and I paid $50 just for our nail polish to start peeling off the same day. Also, the front desk woman was giving us an attitude at the end of our service.

Had a great pedicure at this place with my daughter yesterday. The ladies did a wonderful job on both of our sets of toes offering also for our enjoyment champagne and kombucha as we were enjoying our pampering of our toes. Very professionally done beautiful colors and I know I will return again my daughter goes here often. I recommend them highly.

Love this place! It’s my favorite nail salon. The non-toxic ingredients make my nails grow soooo long. The technicians take their time and do it right. Lovely service. The CBD Kombucha is really good.

There are many good aspects at the Nail Hall but these are not upheld consistently.I have had some of the best pedicures of my life at the nail Hall but they can't seem to keep the same nail techs. In the 10+ times I have been a good third of the time I had a mediocre service.I've had nail techs be very rough removing gel polish with the nail file filling my cuticles ALSO when they should be filling the nail.I kept booking and going back because COVID has made keeping employees difficult. I thought just give them a chance. The last pedicure I had was a B+. I felt happy. The owner pushed my friend and I to book our next service then rather than later. The owner remembered that my friend's partner had come in before. They pushed my friend to book for their partner too. She was telling me I should book for my partner as well then. I was not sure so the owner tells me I can call back and make an appointment for my own partner. We booked our pedicures six weeks ahead.Getting close to the appointment date I tried calling a bunch but always a machine. I finally get a a hold of someone who tells me that they'll only have 3 nail techs in that Sunday. The next day they call my friend and cancel her and her partners appointment because now they'll only have two nail techs in. We booked six weeks in advance. We gave them our credit cards to hold the appointment. In the time I've been going they've gone through three different receptionists. I never have the same nail tech and I'm expected to pay up premium prices for varying quality of service. If the nail hall was consistent I would remain their customer.

There's a lot of potential here and I really wanted to love this place and be a regular. They have the opportunity to be one of the best mani/pedi spots in SF, so my experience is disappointing. Last time I was in, the owner schmoozed with my friend and I and encouraged us to put our next appointment in the schedule. I, like most ppl, am quite busy, so planning these nice things for myself ahead of time is a great idea. However, if I block my schedule 6-8 weeks in advance, and get a call 2 days prior to my appointment that there is an emergency and they can no longer accommodate me, this defeats the entire purpose. Nothing is more annoying and generally disrespectful than time and energy wasted, especially if I'm taking time off work in my own small business to make time to support another small business. First off, I have worked in the service industry for 2 decades, so I have a lot of patience and understanding. I did a lot of research and tried different places. The reason I wanted to book with this business is bc they presented as an ELEVATED service, meaning you pay more, but you get what you pay for. I'm thinking that there must be nail techs banging down the door to work at such a nice business. But there are only 3 nail technicians available on a busy Sunday/holiday weekend and they have at least 6-8 pedicure stations and also the same amount of manicure stations. Being so severely understaffed really makes me wonder. I hate leaving bad reviews. I really wanted this to be "the spot." I very much appreciate the apology from the receptionist, however it's absolutely not their problem or responsibility, they are simply the messenger. I would really have rather heard directly from the owner, as she was the one who pushed us into booking in advance. They also told us some other misinformation, but it's neither here nor there at this point. If the owner reads this, in summary: I do not appreciate my time and energy being disregarded in such an unprofessional manner when the business sells itself as an elite service provider. Sincerely, a very disappointed potential regular client.

Poor customer service. Person answering the phone can learn some basics about how to talk to people and especially shouldn't hang up on someone inquiring about services. I regularly walk by this salon. Now I understand why this place is always empty.

I wish I lived in the Bay Area still so I could come here monthly! I booked the gel manicure and upgraded to the signature gel manicure when I arrived. I chose The Nail Hall because of their non-toxic, vegan polishes. The atmosphere is very chic and colorful and Jen, the owner, was there to greet me and help me get settled when I arrived. Everyone was very friendly, and I relaxed with a CBD kombucha while I got my manicure. I'm glad I did the signature treatment with the aromatherapy exfoliating scrub. The polish was high quality and did not chip until day 14! I'm looking forward to coming back the next time I visit.
