It is a nice building. However, getting in and out requires walking through weed filled smoke and smelling urine and other ghastly smells.Inside there is a musty smell as well and the location on the bathrooms is hard to find and annoying. The main room upstairs was nice with a bar in the back. We were charged almost $4 for a tiny cup of brewed coffee.

This is one of San Francisco's beautiful old buildings with ornate interior decoration. The main room downstairs has very high ceilings with stained glass skylights, and there are a number of smaller rooms off to the sides as well as downstairs and upstairs. This makes a beautiful venue for events and parties and conferences. Outside of the Hibernia the city streets are a bit rough in that area to expect to see some unhoused people and some trash etc but I don't think it's really dangerous. Parking in the area can be a bit of a problem but Bart is literally right there and there are also bus stops very close. Easy to take an Uber there too.

I recently hosted my college's formal for 800 people at Hibernia. To start, the venue is absolutely gorgeous. The team at Hibernia was also extremely accommodating and easy to work with. Planning a formal for such a large group of people is very stressful, but the Hibernia team made sure to help me carry this burden. I would absolutely recommend hosting your next event at Hibernia, and I hope to work with them again soon!

Excellent team and staff, beautiful venue that deserves a better spot than the tenderloin unfortunately. I attended a tech event and Lola was one of the managers that was very helpful with showing me around, definitely book your events here!

Finally got a chance to step inside the iconic Hibernia and it did not disappoint. Gorgeous architecture and lighting- although a little bit on the smaller side. There are multiple floors too.

Beautiful venue, staff is professional, friendly, and attentive. The architecture/design of the space provides a unique backdrop for events, creating a memorable atmosphere.

Beautiful venue I have attended two events here. Parking in the area is awful you are in the heart of the Tenderloin so beware lots of drug dealers in the area
