This place is the best shipping place in all of Lompoc!! The owner goes the extra mile to help you not like other shipping services in Lompoc! I would never go anywhere else this place is the best!!! Don't miss an opportunity to see the murals at one of their open studios! The art is amazing, the people are incredible, and the vibe is Woman and LGBTQ+ positive. I came to the Box Shop 7 years ago looking to join the Flaming Lotus Girls. My life has completely changed because of the community and opportunities I found there.

Dense and well-worn, creative steel workshop for large scale art and building. Hub for Burning Man artists like the Flaming Lotus Girls. If you have a friend who can give you a tour, take it! Or volunteer to help with a build.

What an amazing location! They were hosting an open house, so we got to check out dozens of amazing murals from some of the best artists around the world. Charles Gadeken is the mastermind behind the space, as well as installations that incorporate light across the City. He started off with a couple of containers, and now there dozen scattered around. I highly recommend checking it out if they're open and really getting an incredible tour of street art.

The Box Shop is home to an incredible and diverse community of artists working in media like metal, glass and fire that is totally unique in SF. Thanks to the mural project it's also home to a one-of-a-kind collection of fine art and street art murals. Truly a landmark in the Bay Area art scene and beyond!

The Box ShopIt is a unfailing lifeline to the artist in the rough and uncaring tidewaters of gentrification in San Francisco.It is a dirty, covered in oil, a what is this on my hands, gem and heart space.There are tools from days gone by and tools that are on the cutting edge of technology and they are all being used in ways there were not intended to be used. And we are better for it.It is the last of its type and should be supported and celebrated as a San Francisco treasure.There are boxes and a shop...Not really sure what else there is to say...

Amazing space for building art. Home to the Flaming Lotus Girls and many other San Francisco artists. There's a wonderful sense of community at this space that's at the heart of the industrial arts scene in SF.
