I came here late night for a torta thinking it would suffice as food. I carried it 10 blocks and was pleasantly surprised to find a super legit torta. The bread was fluffy and flaky, the sandwich fillings were super flavorful without being too greasy. I got the chicken milanese, some of the other tortas look out there but I bet they're all good!Kid-friendliness: It's a liquor store... on mission street... nuff said.

SF staple. Located inside a liquor store maybe sitting for 2people. Probably the best Cuban torta in sfThe milanesa is so good! I get double beef and add jalapeños the torta is big, so if you don’t eat a lot you can probably share it or save it for later. The lady who makes these is so nice. If you’re ever in the area check it out I know you will love it.

I'm an SF Native and I've been coming here since I was teen for the tacos but didn't realize they had a torta or just never bothered to order one but when I saw on Anthony Bourdain get it I knew I had to try it and just feel in love the ultimate Cubana is the way to it has everything and it so good. It dose get busy and the old man with long hair is so nice the cook not so much but she get busy! So I totally understand and when you see the size you'll be surprised this tortas are BiG!

First time visiting. Ordered the Ultimate Cubana Torta. Large serving, enough for 2 adults. Very tasty. Would go back for the same thing & maybe try other foods on the menu. Odd thing is i didn't see any prices posted, but I figured to spend around 15.00. The lady doing the cooking; her name is Veronica was super super friendly. Waited around 10 minutes to get my sandwich.

My review is for ordering liquor online from them. They are FANTASTIC! I had an issue on a delivery that was my fault and they bent over backwards to help me out with it. Their prices are the best on most of my favorite Bourbon. I can't recommend them enough!

It's been a while since I have a sandwich from That's It, but I took a friend there last week to grab a couple of Torta Cubano's and head to Latin American Club for some margarita's. Yes, the sandwich is huge, and it is definitely worth the price as it will completely fill you up. It is a very San Francisco interpretation of the Torta Cubano, and we liked it but its' not what I would call authentic, at least if you were looking for the Mexican version of this. I really prefer the Torta Cubano at Torta Gordo's. That's my definition of this sandwich, and its similar to the ones I used to get in Mexico City. It is just as dense, and costs a few dollars more, but the flavor is just so much better. It has a wonderful smoky chipotle sauce that sets it off, and is more dense (they compress it on a hot press) so the flavors run together. The large is definitely a meal for two. Give it a try if you are still looking for the ultimate version of the Torta Cubano.

After a first time delicious Italian Ice from Bernie Bee's, I popped in here to try my first ever torta Cubano. When I said this to the gentleman at the cash register, he was very happy and the woman at the grill asked if I wanted chicken or beef. I went with the chicken, no jalapenos.I went back to the car while hubby was at DiAnda's and dove it. A bit of crunch from the toasted bun and lettuce, tender chicken and some salsa she put on the side. There was a light avocado smear, maybe cotija cheese, tomatoes and lettuce. Overall a nice hearty sandwich from a great local shop. Happy to try another for $10. A big sandwich. The gentleman said that Anthony Bourdain had been there and had the full torta. I can't imagine biting into something that gigantic!Waln the Mission and enjoy the locally owned businesses!

First time coming to try out the FAMOUS location! Location is nearly 20minute drive from the piers..... it is in a very sketchy area where we seen crackheads everywhere, people shooting up drugs down the block. I do highly suggest of being aware of surroundings especially due to limited parking. We did come on a Sunday and had to park nearly 3 blocks away. Aside from all that. Staff is super friendly. Our cashier did mention the cuban torta does have alot but their milanesa torta is very well known! I must say yes it is somewhat greasy but cook adjusts your torta to your liking. It taste AMAZING! Worth the drive! GREAT STAFF.!!!!

This community business is great! They shipped a case of whiskey at a great price to Oregon and facilitated every piece of our sale very professionally, with a friendly attitude, and with clear communication.Thank you and highly recommended!
