The worst customer service, they didn’t want to sell me because was to late, I come at 6:30 they close at 7 and for slow costumer service they didn’t sell me, next day they don’t have any of the shoes I ask and they told me they don’t have nothing to sell me

This is a review about my experience with a staff member and not about a purchase as I chose not to buy shoes today. The girl in the green puffer jacket was friendly and helpful. She spent time with me and could not have been more pleasant. I had read previous negative reviews about customer care here so I wanted to share my positive experience.

Two people behind the counter checking on their mobile. I had to get one of the two’s attention when he started moving around the shop to ask for help in buying a pair of shoes. Before heading out to get my size, a lady also asked him for help. I waited and waited. He came past me and said that the girl is coming soon with the shoes… well still waiting so I left the shop. Very disappointed

Excellent shoes, worst
Customer service (from an employee) that I have experienced in a long time.
I bought a pair of flip flops in a store in Palm Springs, but about a week after I bought them, one of the two shoes got so bent at the pool in Las Vegas due to the heat that it became a size smaller. The other shoe had no damage whatsoever. I wanted to exchange the shoes for a new pair directly in Las Vegas, but unfortunately this was not possible because the size was not available. After I had to go back to California anyway, the employee in Las Vegas told me that I could exchange the pair of shoes there because there was enough availability in California. I then tried this in this store and was told by a young, dark-skinned employee that a return could only be made if the shoes were new and not already used. I explained to the lady again that I didn't want to return the pair because I no longer liked them, but that I was asking for an exchange because one of the shoes obviously had a material defect. The answer was the most ridiculous thing I could have expected: it was my fault. I simply shouldn't have left the flip flops out in the sun, they're not made for that! Mind you, the shoes had been standing by the pool for maybe 20 minutes when I used it. I explained again that I was requesting an exchange because a shoe obviously had a material defect, and the lady just pointed to a sign at the checkout and said that I could read the return policy. If I want a new pair, I may buy this one. I told her that the shoe had been returned without any problems in Las Vegas, to which she replied that the employee there had made a mistake because this was not allowed. The employee argued her point vehemently and I then left the branch annoyed.
In LA I went to another store, briefly described the problem and lo and behold: the shoes were replaced immediately. The staff there were also extremely friendly, which is what you would expect from the lady in S.F. cannot claim at all.
I bought two pairs of shoes in this store five years ago, which I still wear very often and with pleasure. The quality is great and I was extremely satisfied with the purchase from this store. The experience just described (but only dependent on one employee) was simply a disgrace.

I discovered Skechers by chance and I must admit that their shoes are very comfortable and easy to put on.

They have as many security guards as they do actual store employees (2 security and 2 employees that do everything...) lmao
People are waiting to pay in a line of 3 people for 20 minutes because the cashier has to help out with retrieving shoes from the back
The employees are great, but just hire more people, your sales are dropping because nobody in SF has savings to spend anymore, not because of petty theft that your security probably costs more than however much gets stolen without them

The in store customer service at Skechers Union Square SF is horrible. I visited the store on 1/18/2024 at night around 5:45 pm. The male sale shows no effort helping the customers and he starred at the shoes i had for entire 3 minutes without saying anything. His attitude made me feel like I owe his money or he just simply does NOT care about his job. I highly recommend people shop online and have it delivered to your place instead of shopping in person at this location. Afterall, the products are exquisite and comfortable whereas the customer service is not so much.

The staff are friendly. I placed an online order and picked up the order there. The staff confirmed my name and reminded me to give all items a try at the dressing room before leaving. All my sizes fit and I am highly satisfied with the customer service received. Thank you. PS. I was served by the male staff with long hair and the female Asian staff. Both are friendly and professional. Awesome.
