Competent, friendly, inexpensive. Had a watch battery replaced in practically no time. The door is always locked, but they keep a close eye on it. Closed for lunch, reopen at 1:00 PM.

I came in October 2023 for a battery replacement.Mr. was ill and his wife wanted to open my watch: a CASIO collector. It wasn't that simple and I saw that it damaged my seal.I am asked to leave the watch and come the next day, her husband will take care of it.When I get my watch back I insist to know if the gasket has been replaced: I am told “yes”.Shortly after I noticed humidity in my watch... I returned to the store.First they try to make me believe that an open watch will never be waterproof again! We open it and I see that the watchmaker has not replaced the broken seal; It is therefore normal that there is no longer any sealing. The gasket to be replaced is in stock at the store and we replace it.Problem: I asked that they keep the watch open for 2 days so that the humidity goes away... they refused, it's abnormal. Now the humidity can no longer escape because the seal has been replaced. My watch is damaged because of this battery change in this small store. For a worthless watch it's ok, don't come with a nice watch

I got this shop a few minutes after closing. I decided to take a photo of their shop hours and come back next day. A woman opened the metal gate from inside and told me to come in. The cost is very reasonable. I just paid $10.00 for a similar watch battery near City Hall. They charged $5.5. And they are super nice even though I showed up after they closed the shop.

I have been going to SIng Sang for years for watch batteries and repair and a few other things (a good place to go for gifts as well). Anita and William are wonderful. So welcoming and gracious, honest, diligent and fun to visit with as you are waiting for Willaim to replace batteries. He is a master of watches!! It is not exactly around the corner from me, but SO worth the time and energy it takes to get to them. I do not even consider going anywhre else for my watch needs. And, then I top my visit off with lunch in Chinatown. Always a fabulous experience in every way. Thank you Anita and Willliam for everything including for by now being one of my dearest acquaintances.

Needed a new watch sized down. Called two other jewelers and was quoted between $25-60. The man here did it in 3 minutes and charged $5. And the lady who worked there was quite nice.

Glad we found this place for changing watch batteries. 5/2023 only charging $5.50 and the 5th watch battery free -- that can't last but the quick friendly friendly service is great. Not sure what else they do but will shop Sing Sang next time in Chinatown and certainly when we need something fixed.

I like coming here to replace my watch battery. The owners are friendly to talk to. It was quick and efficient because I didn't have to wait long. They offer a deal on replacing your watch battery. The four one is free of charge. I highly recommend anyone who need to replace their batteries to go and give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

If you are looking to replace a battery/batteries for your watch or watches, highly recommend this place. Very cost and time efficient - three watches for $18, and I told the owner he could take his time but he still got it done in 15 minutes plus he adjusted all three watches to the correct time and dates. Confirming they still have a rewards system i.e. fifth battery replacement is free (you'll get a points card). Bring cash to support this Chinatown small business!Context: First time customer. Brought entry level watches only (Seiko, Victorinox, etc).

Just had 4 watch batteries replaced for $5.50 each, even the one that other places couldn't do (Macys, Batteries Plus). Really pleasant people, both worked on them so it was done quickly, and they made sure I had the card for one free after 5 batteries. On Clay at Grant. If it looks closed...it may just be the shadow on the glass door (I thought it was closed at first). Just tap and they will buzz you in.

So I had 2 pairs of metal frames glasses that needed repair. I had come in prior to the second pair being in operable, but didn't have 1 hour to wait for the repair, so back I came with more time on my hands after the 2nd pair broke. I did visit another eyeglass repair shop that I found on Yelp, but after seeing that guy and telling me he couldn't fix one pair and telling me that he would send the other pair off for 2 weeks and costing $100, I came back to Sing Sang Jewelry. I had a little over 1.5 hours to wait, but the gentleman said he could only fix 1 pair within the time frame and asked which pair was more important. My Nicole Miller frames had an adjustable arm which snapped off and is my current eyeglass needed for all things far away, like driving. My Apple Bottoms frame broke awhile ago after being dropped on the concrete floor and snapped in half with a fix in the future. I left both pairs at the shop in search of some dim sum and egg tarts a few streets away. Got some boba and headed back to the shop for my 1 repaired Nicole Miller frames. When I arrived, they told me not ready? I said I have to get back to work and really needed my glasses back. The wife asked if I could wait 10 more minutes because her husband was finishing up the 2nd pair that I brought in!!!!! They totally saved me the extra trip of coming back to pickup the 2nd pair!!! EXCELLENT service and PRICE!!!!!

This has been my go to watch battery place for 10 years. $5.50 per battery replacement is a great deal, and you get one free battery for every 4. They give you a loyalty card to keep track and it never expires.
