10AM - 10PM
The Embarcadero, San Francisco“Nice for a walk. The shops are almost 100% oriented towards souvenirs, which takes away the fun a bit. Quite a few people depending on what time you go. To see the sea lions I recommend going in the morning or before sunset since at night they can barely be seen with the little light there is. There is the famous Bubba Gump, for some seafood dinner, although expensive. Difficult to park on the weekend if you don't want to spend a fortune.”

1737 Post St, San Francisco“Too bad it was under renovation. It looks like the open area in the center is very nice, but I assume they were leaving it better. In general, the locals are equal. Some look authentically Japanese and others are an American imitation. If you are in the area, you can stop by if you have time. ??”
“Beautiful shopping center with grocer, clothing, hardware, cosmetics and multiple coffee shops. Free parking. Security does monitor the parking lot and I have seen first hand an officer ticketing cars for being parked more than the 30 minutes posted time limit. (I believe it is a private not governmental ticket so unsure of the implications of non-payment)”
“We had so much fun at Pier 39, the weather was perfect! Our Goldendoodle puppy saw the barking sea lions for the first time and they barked back and forth lol! We even took him inside a photo booth, while they didn't turn out perfectly lol, we now have memories to cherish! The shops and restaurants are endless, I purchased a couple things from Aleenk Technologies and we had lunch at Pier Market restaurant! I would HIGHLY recommend visiting Pier 39, for breathtaking views and unique businesses! We parked on the 3rd floor at Pier 39 Parking Garage and it led straight to the Pedestrian Bridge Walkway, the access to Pier 39 shops and restaurants! We are looking forward to returning to check out The Flyer when I'm no longer pregnant! Maybe we'll even add a love lock to the Pier! ;-) SYOY!”

5214D Diamond Heights Blvd, San Francisco“Very convenient shopping center! This center has dry cleaning, USPS, a coffee shop, WalGreens and a Safeway. There's even a playground in the back. The parking lot can be a little hectic, even dangerous as people are often hurrying about. I frequent this place not out of preference but out of necessity.”
“I went there for some in-n-out food. Crowded and safe with a security guard there. Don't leave anything in your car ever.l (even if it is hidden do not leave a thing).”
“Even though the image shows a car store..wr did not go there. Opposite of that is a movie theater. U would not think so at first walking in but ur walking past the inside of the old theater to the new one...it looks very futuristic to me... They need more choices at the food stand but other than that it was great...”
6:30AM - 12:30AM
500 Beach St, San Francisco“Love In-N-Out double doubles. However, not used to walk ins; spoiled by drive thru in So Cal. I use a cane so it was rough with no parking. Packed, no place to sit while waiting. Grateful they had someone help me carry my order. Bad news/good news. My order was missing fries. Called the # on my receipt and they are sending me a coupon to replace missing items. Really appreciated the good customer service to make things right. Thank you.”
11AM - 9PM
135 4th St, San Francisco“Lots of stuff to do at the Metreon. Dinner, movies, roof deck, buying things at Target, Imax, ice cream, hanging out in the park. So many things
The IMAX is amazing and quite often sold out for big blockbusters. And the Dolby theater is my favorite. Such amazing sound!”
“Went to Target. Very well organized store. All employees (at least the one's o asked) knew where items were. Nice and easy cash out. Neat way to get carts up with their own little escalator.”
6AM - 7PM
50 Post St, San Francisco“It's such an impressive building and a wow feeling entrance looking into the building. I knew the real estate agent that sold the building about 40 years ago for $400M and made a commission of $1M. He was set for life. At that time, it was the most expensive building. Check it out when you are in town.”
“Embarcadero 2 has the 2024 Chinese New Year Parade Dragon on display. This will be used in the parade on Saturday, February 24, 2023. Whenever there is a new dragon or lion, there is an Eye Dotting ceremony (awakening of the dragon); a ritual practiced by martial artists and monks. It protects the performers from harm. If you look closely, you might be able to see "red" coloring on the dragon's eyes. This ritual is only used once - before the dragon is used for performances/displays. If you have the opportunity, drop by to see it. It's located on the corner of Sacramento and Drumm Streets. If you have time, walk around the 4 Embarcaderos to see/visit the different shops and restaurants. There's even a post office.”
“Make sure to ✔ out second street on the second floor.
Valuable tip : best nail shop in sf. Best estheticians also happy nail on second level near whole foods and sports basement. My favorite place to get acrylics. Not cheap though. Top quality but bring 125 for full set and pedicure to make sure u have enough to tip good”
“Went down here for the first time in years to check out the mahjong pick up games next to the chess “tables” - was so surprised to see it so clean and no smell of urine - and less of the drugged out homeless scene that I feared dealing with - it’s definitely still there but obviously the city and police seem to be doing something right here - I rode BART to Civic Center from Glen Park - and saw appropriate levels of visible security - I felt safe and stayed a little longer to go get a bite to eat at the Saigon sandwich shop down the street with friends I met there - and went to the public library to use the restroom and again surprised at how clean it was and had appropriate level of supervision in the restroom with someone making sure it was clean and safe with no loiterers etc. I’ll definitely come back. Hope this trend continues and the city takes moves soon to improve union square with a night market and street fair or something to make visitors feel like it’s worth coming down there.”

2300 16th St, San Francisco“Safe Way, Petco, Jamba Juice, Sally's ... This center is super conveniently located, especially for me. I live 3 blocks away. It's great parking . There are always spaces open ,it also has a small section with Tesla charging stations, sandwich shops etc I ve never had any bad experiences there”
“The Yerba Buena Gardens that run across the top of Moscone center run for three city blocks from Folsom Street to Mission Street and bounded by third Street and fourth Street. The Yerba Buena Gardens are basically the roof of Moscone center with waterfalls tables sometimes live performances and just a great place to enjoy nature in the middle of the city.”
