3% “convenience fee” on entire purchase if you don’t use cash.Prices are through the roof and the highest price items, like ice cream, have no price listed

The folks here are always friendly. I don't shop there often but it is my go-to for last minute items I need (produce, recipe ingredients, wine etc) rather than trekking it back to a larger grocery store. The store is decent sized, clean and organized.Prices are higher than big grocery stores but that is expected of a convenience grocery store. They're not a big corporation selling at large scales.

Hills in SF have no supermarkets and we who live on tippy top of Russian Hill think this is one of the best convenience store; while we all buy our basics here , our eyes are fixated on their wide collection of Bourbon and Armagnac; this is a store that wants to be into spirits instead of basic necessities; How also thoughtful of them to have tennis balls as we are close to Alice Marble courts. They do not allow pets who should really be set free in forests, their natural habitat, instead of seeking public adulation. Pets are so needy these days. But sometimes I rather be a pet getting so much affection.

Super clean and precision run establishment. Quality products and higher eshalons of the usual corner store items. Contains the Amazon package pickup locker named 'Vault'. Part of a nice set of shops and restaurants at Hyde/Union. Bus and cable car line accessible.

The people here are very sweet and go out of their way to order unusual products that neighbors request. For example, someone requested a unique soft drink from Austria called Almdudler. Its like a European version of Sarsaparilla. There are other unique items by request from Korea to the UK, Pretty cool and manager Oscar does his research. FYI this is one of few women owned businesses on Russian Hill. Thank you, Jackie!

This place is super overpriced even for Russian hill and doesn't include price stickers on the items so you don't even know what price gouging you're in for til you get to the til. Walk the extra blocks to real foods for quality for your money. Also closes earlier than times listed online and on the door.

So I don't really have a rating for this thing and I just needed to add personally working retail myself when I was younger I hate that policy the customer is always right because I guarantee you they're not and oftentimes when they're all pissed off it's it's because they literally do not just open their eyes and see that there's something going on besides themselves And remember we remember 30% of the good times and 70% of the negative that's obviously an approximation , not my approximation the stats people . Well whatever I was bored looking for 24 hours Safeway

Worst people and service. I politely asked if my dog could come in even tho she’s a service dog and they said no. So I tied her up outside to be respectful to them and I asked why dogs aren’t allowed and they came up with the excuse that the isles aren’t wide enough?????? The isles were normal size and absolutely no one in the store. I have never been to an SF store that has denied dogs. I grabbed what I was gunna buy and asked again why they are anti-dog and some other person who I assumed worked there refused me service. They were completely rude and unprofessional. Not once in SF have I encountered a business that has refused a service animal. Not even sure if they are allowed to in this city. I ask that you don’t give this business service.

They deserve less than a star. They are anti dogs. I asked them politely if I could bring my dog in and the said no and that was okay. I tied her up outside and asked why they were anti-dog. I went to ring up and they refused to serve me cuz I asked why they don't like dogs. Not friendly. Completely rude. I ask that you don't give them your business. Whether your dog is a pet/service dog/emotional support dog.. they won't let you in.

A really well run corner store with a great variety and friendly people. They are small, but they are mighty.

I am incredibly disappointed with the staff (business owner of this place). I've just moved to the area and could be a great customer but will make sure to never enter this place again. I asked for one piece of information about the Amazon locker they have in their establishment. The owner was incredibly rude. Refused me to give me any information cause I was not buying anything. Maybe this is normal behaviour for her, but I've never seen treating (potential) customers this way in San Francisco. This won't help you long term Jackie K. Do not support this business, people

I left so frustrated at the staff. They were incredibly rude and I will most certainly never go there again. I don't even really do reviews online. I needed their behavior registered somewhere. Looking at the other reviews, I wasn't alone in leaving that shop in a far worse mood than I went in.

Great store! We've been coming here for a year now as we live in the area. The store is clean and well-stocked, so it's easy to come here when we need something last minute. The store staff is also very polite, friendly, and honest. We got the wrong change once and they stopped us on the street as we were walking by the next day to give us the remainder. We will miss this place when we move next month :(
