A cheerful, colorful, bright place to explore cute quirky items. This is a great place to buy casual gifts for someone who loves novel and silly fun things ( eg purse that looks like a Cup Noodles container, dangling pineapple earrings etc). The man who worked there when my family and l visited was also an absolute delight and I look forward to returning and buying more stuff.

Such a cute shop! Quirky and overlooked as it's upstairs on Pier 39. I love my bag I purchased from here whilst on vacation and the member of staff manning the store when I visited was delightful.

Just make sure you don't get the garlic crab is just so over cooked and awful Everything came out so fast and expensive and only lasted maybe 35 40 minutes Terrible crab chowder. Like it came out of a can

The overall service was great however was expecting a little more fresh out of the seafood given its price. The crab tasted like it's been frozen for a bit and its meat was a bit dry. Rest of the food was great and the waitress was very friendly as well.

I had family from out of town and I did the reservations on open table. I was a little early and the manager was SO NICE, he sat me down at the table and was very nice. The waiter was there asap and service was excellent while I waited for my three guest. While there I chatted with some SF residents who say they like going to the restaurant because their are NEVER any surprises and the quality of the food is always the same. Great. Thank you for this opportunity to let you know the Manager and staff are Great.

Beautiful day in San Francisco. We dropped into Pier 39 Crab House for a nice lunch. Hostess led us to their large dining room. We sat right by the window facing the sun-tanning sea lions barking and having fun. The Golden Gate Bridge was in the background. Ferry cruise boats were cruising around routinely. Tourists were everywhere. Great place for people watching. Had Crab Chowder as an appetizer. It was filled with crab meat and potatoes..scrumptious! Shared a whole 2+ pounds Dungeness Crab; garlicky and tasty..price is good for Fisherman's Wharf area. Next, we ordered the Sea Bass which was filet and pan roasted. It was very good and cooked perfectly. It also comes with one side: Sauteed Mixed Vegetables, French Fries or Acini de Pepe Pasta. I asked our waiter exactly what is 'acini de pepe pasta' and he returns with a small cupful for me to sample. The acini de pepe pasta serves with sundried tomatoes and snap peas. These are tiny round pasta served cold and flavorful. Service was immaculate. Good portions and this was a satisfying and enjoyable meal. Waiter was professional and knowledgeable. I was impressed with his attentiveness and efficiency. Our waiter was exceptional. He cares for his diners. I'll definitely be back!

In my opinion this is the best sea food restaurant in San Francisco. I've been coming to this restaurant since I was a kid. It is truly my favorite seafood restaurant. My wife and I come here a least once a year for Thanksgiving.

Very nice view from almost any table. Service was very good and the staff is friendly. Noise level is fairly high. Not the most fancy place but still great lunch outing. Very expensive, $150.00 for lunch for two. The food is very good.

Our experience was not a happy one from the moment we sat down to the moment we left. I felt like we were eating at a fast food restaurant we were in and out in a half an hour. We didn't even sit down and the waitress was trying to take our order we asked her if she can come back that we didn't even look at the menu yet . She back My husband told her to slow down that we just sat down and we need time to look at the menu he told her that we felt rushed.A second later she's back so we ordered our food . Our waitress didn't even leave our table and the food was ready and in front of are face a salad ,appetizer , and Main entrées all at once. Food was poor Quality.($$$) like I said our reservations were at 6:30 we were out by 7 o'clock fast food takes longer. We will never go back or recommend this place.. PS OSHA needs to be notified The emergency exit was blocked by a baby carriage and people ,windows had no screens a Child could've fell out into the ocean. Thank god was no emergency it would have been a nightmare

My son really likes this place, but he wasn't with us this time and honestly, the dinner we had was just ok. The crab wasn't served with butter (we asked, and they brought it). There were crab crackers at the table, but no little forks. Try getting that crab meat out with a dinner fork and fingers. Again, we asked and they brought them. Why did we have to ask? So that was annoying, but mostly the food was just ok. Not great, not flavorful, not bad. Just ok. Not worth it to me, and I would only recommend to someone who wants the Pier 39 experience, and even then, I'd probably encourage them to try something different.

I had not been to this restaurant in several years but assumed quality had been maintained and reserved a table for dinner with out of town guests. Unfortunately, the food with one exception was not up to past quality. We ordered crab cakes as an appetizer, which were very brown almost burned ...but tasted great. This was the one good food item we had. The entrees were very disappointing... large over cooked quantities of vegetables, a Crab fettuccine Alfredo, with very little crabmeat on very over cooked pasta, a crab Louie salad that was a huge amount of iceberg lettuce which was too wet, with a very small amount of crab meat, canned black olives, cut, tasteless tomatoes and supermarket style thousand island dressing. Our waiter was excellent, attentive but professional. He could not fix the food. Even the bread not taste fresh,. Prices are very high. We will not return or recommend this restaurant.

The only time I have had better crab is in my home in the north of Scotland. Fresh off the boats and straight to the boiling water , magic, but this came close. Congratulations to a great team I will be back before heading home.

Always a fun time! This restaurant is nestled upstairs at pier 39. It's not fancy or inexpensive, but it's a great place for crab dinner. Garlic bread and bruscetta is also very good.

Since I've been going to the crab house these past few years especially at holiday time the restaurants usually full with a waitlist we came in with reservations and was immediately seated that was the highlight service was terrible the restaurant was apparently not that busy with open tables here and there something I've not seen before in this restaurant at 7:45 PM on New Year's Eve We were not offered bread we were not followed up on for more water we had a long wait to get our check processed in back to us they did not even come back to see how her food was and if we needed anything else
