I can't recommend these folks enough. I was shopping for electric bikes and went to multiple places around San Francisco. Jason was the only one who took the time with me, fielded all of my questions without judgement, and made me feel valued. It didn't have a used car lot feel like other places I went to. Since then, both Jason and Andrew have made me want to return here for any future bike needs. Plus the shop dog is so loveable.

This has been my go to shop for any and all bike needs. Friendly and knowledgeable staff with solid turn around times. I got my tires replaced here and pricing seemed reasonable. I would just call ahead of time and check the hours they're open.

Awesome bike shop near Golden Gate Park!I want to echo what other reviews have said: Andrew is the best! He has helped me and my bike on numerous occasions for a variety of reasons. He has taught me different fixes and how to properly maintain my bike, which I'm very thankful for.I also bought a heavy duty bike lock on Andrew's recommendation and it's worked out marvelously. The store has a great selection of bike equipment so if you're in need of something - check it out!

Andrew is the best. He's helped me switch out my petals, install clip-in shoes, fill up my tires, etc. I'm definitely a beginner when it comes to my gravel bike and he is very patient and very fair pricing. I'll keep coming back here.

Thanks for repairing my garage sale find (Fujitsu 70's ten speed) with a deft and caring hand. I'm sure the former owner would be greatful his bike is so well cared for. My friends say I should hang it on the wall as a piece of sculpture it's so beautiful and I agree.

I try to use local independent shops to support local business. I had a VERY simple chain replacement. The owner said he had the right chain but when I came back he said he had to jury rig a chain and charged me extra. I can live with that. But, about 400 miles later the chain fell off while I was riding down Van Ness. This caused me to crash. Fortunately there was no incoming traffic and I did not incur any injuries. I have been riding bikes for over 60 years and have had a chain come off the chain ring but NEVER separate and fall off.

It’s been a minute since I got my bike repaired here with Jason the owner but I’m heading there again to get some new things done and wanted to add a glowing review. My bike was pretty thrashed and after two visits to the box stores for repair neither could get it done. Jason took it in and in two days it was literally better than new! The cranks was so tight, brakes and gears worked perfectly. I originally had sticker shock when he gave me the estimate but after getting it back I would have paid double to have my beloved bike back in this mint condition.

I have a Bosch middrive ebike. Drivetrain was making a weird noise and I needed a general tune-up. First time using this shop, I brought it in early Nov. 2022.Service took two weeks and $235 and the drivetrain issue had not been fixed.I was told at one point that I would need to wait 4 days for the owner to come in and look at my bike, and when I called on the 4th day I was told he had left early that day and not gotten to it yet. Two days later I talked to the owner, he told me he had tried to contact Bosch to warranty my motor and that it was very difficult and he was going to have to charge me by the hour to carry out the warranty process. He told me he couldn't give me an estimate of how many hours it may take to warranty my bike and that it might be very expensive; he also told me that he hadn't looked at it yet. This was the 14th day I had been without my bike and by this point, I was coming to pick it up regardless of what state it was in. When I showed up to the shop, I was told that there was an issue with the freehub body and my only recourse was to replace the Entire Wheel, which would of course be very expensive.Silliness.

Rode away only to have my gears slipping. Went back to ask about the issue, and the mechanic test rode the bike and confirmed it needed more work. He then informed me that he would have to charge me more, and asked if I could come back since he didn't have time to work on it then. Why should I have to pay more for something else they missed during the service I payed for? I decided that after the initial interaction I had with the owner, I would never give San francyclo my business ever again. I will be going to another bike shop to have them fix all the things San francyclo missed and couldn't do...

Tl;dr untrustworthy service.I had a bike repaired by the staff here and the issue still wasn’t fixed, so I had to bring it back shortly after and was charged again to have it fixed since they seemed to have no recollection of the first repair. I figured it was just a one off, but I bought a measured part from them and was later told that the part was too short (that the same staff member measured!). I like to support local businesses, but I don’t trust their work and don’t appreciate the standoffish attitude from the owner - case in point: the highly defensive responses to the other reviews. I would suggest going to any of the other local bike shops in town.

Been coming here for years for all my bike needs. Always have a great time talking to the staff — Jason is the man and Mojo is just the coolest little pup. Awesome local bike shop!
