Best car buying experience ever. Went with my daughter to buy a new RAV4. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The sales department was very clean and nicely set up. I just bought a new Toyota last year from another dealer in the east bay and while shopping at all the other dealers in the Bay Area, San Francisco Toyota was the best one I've been to.

I really liked the service department, the only thing is very difficult to reach them on the phone, but otherwise everything was explained to me, told me everything, and helped everyone is very responsive!

SF Toyota has agreed to pay for my repairs to my bumper. I'm relieved that this has been resolved. My car looks brand new again.

Purchased my first car here and definitely have to give endless thanks to Aaron Yang. He was incredibly helpful and worked around us just to accommodate our schedules. Super nice and friendly attitude, made the "first car nerves" a little less heavy. Lots of gratitude to him! He was also able to answer any questions I had! Will definitely refer friends/family to him and hopefully see him again in the future when I get another car!

I seen the new 2023 Toyota crown limited and loved it. My local dealership was trying to overcharge me. I went online to San Francisco Toyota. Found the car significantly lower. Messaged them got a reply back from Victor Kim & Frank Huang. Made the deal and Tim delivered it the next day!! Very happy with the customer service and the promptness of everything!! Thank you so much!

Just bought a certified used prius. Arseniy did a wonderful job and helped us throughout the entire process. We even got to discover a busy croissant spont whilst test driving. Thanks Arseniy and SF Toyota.

Toyota is very popular. That's why I bought a Rav4 there. But the after sales service sucks. I made an appointment for maintenance service for 10:30 am and I was waiting an hour and a half. I looked for my car through the workshop, but my car was in the same place. They did nothing! Then I called the person in charge and she told me that the employees were having lunch… just 2 hours later, they started doing maintenance and I had to wait another 2 hours. Please DO NOT BUY TOYOTA. I think that because of the lousy service, many go to different workshops. They don't care about their buyers.

This review is for the used cars department. I want to post my experience so that others can make an informed decision about buying a used car from this location.I've wanted to write this review for so long. Hate to leave bad reviews but now that I need yet another major repair costing thousands I've just had enough.1) Don't think that you are better off buying a used car from a dealership. I was blatantly lied to about the car's real condition. Found out later on that the car is full of aftermarket parts, something the seller failed to mention. Not sure if the older guy is still a seller there, but he is willing to lie to your face just to make a deal.2) If you can, save money to buy a new car. You don't have any real protection with a used car. Anything that goes wrong is on you. My used car that was supposed to be in a great condition has been needing so many major repairs throughout the 15K+ miles I've driven with it. The repairs have cost more than the actual car. The reason why I suggest to buy a new car is, that all these major repairs are something that would normally be covered for A NEW car buyer up to 100K miles but if you buy a used car, you pay for the repairs. And major car repairs are very costly.3) Insist having your own mechanic check the REAL condition of the car you're buying. Don't take their word for it, that the car is in a great condition, or like the older guy told me, "no I wouldn't lie, honestly I would sell this car to my daughter and I wouldn't sell her anything that wasn't good". I also was pondering whether to buy the car or wait and buy a car later in my new location (was moving elsewhere soon after) he said "oh it's better to buy the car here, SF used cars are in much better condition because people trade in sooner than elsewhere". The irony of it that mine was a lemon that I can't really drive without worrying every minute what will break next, with the car being full of after market parts?? Stupid me that I mentioned moving elsewhere, because he also said that "oh if you don't like it, I'll buy it back from you". IF you can go with a mechanic do so and if you can't maybe buy the car but take it to a trusted mechanic immediately after and if it's not in a condition what they promise you, there must be some law that you can return it within 7? 14? days. Not sure about that but what I am sure about is that I regret every day buying a used car from this dealership. That's all. Drive safe.

Deceptive business practices with used cars. Selling problematic cars? Went to SF Toyota to look at a used car to purchase as a commuter. Upon arriving, we took a ride to go see the car on their offsite parking garage. Some of the interior lights didn't work right off the bat. After the test drive, I inspected the engine bay and found a leak on the passenger side of the bay, which was wet, indicating it was an active leak & some dried up oil on the driver side. I asked for a copy of the inspection report, since they said it went through a 160 point inspection and came back "clean", but the manager told the sales person they can't provide it, but only verbally summarize it. I continued to voice my concern to the sales person, who guaranteed it would be covered by the 6 month Powertrain warranty. At this point, they were good with fixing the lights and washing the engine bay, and if the leak came back, they'd fix it. Ran my credit, did the initial paperwork and was ready to purchase the vehicle, but once I got in front of the finance person, and it came to putting the repair in contract and having it notated in the due bill that the oil leak would be fixed if it came back after the wash and the light would be fixed. He called someone and confirmed the warranty would not cover the leak, and that the warranty only covers if the engine would seize up, major failure, etc. I said I didn't want to go through with it anymore, but he wanted to see if they can workout a deal so he went up with the sales manager to look at the car, said the sales manager went and took pics of the leak and showed it to the used car manager. They offered $500 discount off purchase price to take the car as is, with the oil leak and broken lights. Would not purchase a used car from here without knowing what to look out for. Seems they're waiting for someone to blindly buy their problematic cars so they don't have to fix it.

I recently had an exceptional car buying experience at SF Toyota. Their no extra markup pricing policy was a breath of fresh air compared to other dealerships. They provided transparent and fair pricing from the start, without any hidden fees or unnecessary charges.I was particularly impressed by the lack of pressure to make a purchase. Ryan, my sales representative, was patient, knowledgeable, and attentive. He took the time to understand my needs and provided valuable insights without pushing me into a decision. Working with him was a pleasure.SF Toyota also went the extra mile in terms of customer convenience. Ryan even booked an Uber for me from San Jose to San Francisco, ensuring a hassle-free experience. The entire dealership had a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff was friendly and professional.Overall, I highly recommend SF Toyota for their honest pricing, pressure-free approach, and exceptional customer service. I am extremely satisfied with my car purchase, and I can confidently say that SF Toyota has gained a loyal customer in me. Thank you, SF Toyota, and a special thanks to Ryan for making my car buying experience truly remarkable

Chris Stone a service manager has delivered top-of-the-line service for several years back at City Toyota in Daly City. I decided I'd go where he goes because that service cannot be replaced. If you don't already have a preference or you're skeptical, go see Chris Stone at San Francisco Toyota for the best service you can ask for being honest and dependable as it should be!

We just bought a new Rav4 from San Francisco Toyota. Very pleasant experience. We did plenty of online shopping and speaking with other dealers. We chose this dealership because of the great reviews which all of are true. No mark-ups and no high-pressure sales tactics. Angel the sales guy was very pleasant and even gave us a tour of the city after he picked us up from the Bart station before taking us back to the dealership. We highly recommend dealing with Angel and this dealership!

These people are racist and sexist. They have the demand and the sales so they think they can discriminate. I (female) went in with a black female friend and she was the buyer. They immediately looked at me as the customer. It was downhill from there. Next time I went to look at a car for myself. I went in with a male friend. They looked at him, even though I told them I was the buyer. No way I would recommend these clowns. This happened in the last 6 months with different sales people. PS I bought a VW.In response to SF Toyota's statement regarding diverse hiring: You can have a diverse staff without appropriate training in BIAS.
