Great service, always been treated fairly with honest advice. I have an electric scooter which both batteries died and could not be charged with my charger. I brought them in and they were able to fix the problem and charge my batteries to full at no cost.

Came in because my scooter was stalling at red lights. Spent 10 minutes at scooter center and they were able to diagnose the issue (I replaced the battery incorrectly). They didn’t try to upsell me, were honest, and fair. It made want to support them even more!! Thanks for the great service, SF scooter center. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my Buddy. They also cut keys!

It’s one of those few shops that is steeped in history and run by people who are experts in their field and enjoyable to talk to. I’ve enjoyed every trip because of the inviting bulldog plopped across the center of the floor, arching plants in the window and vintage bike club patches on the cash wrap, but the most important part is the mechanical experience…
I bring my vintage scooter to Barry and team for their expert knowledge and on the spot diagnosis of repairs needed. I’ve brought my vespas here for 15 years and heavily recommend.

Barry will take good care of you here. True to his philosophy, he underpromised and over delivered. I was a bit frightened by his ballpark estimate and not looking forward to being without my Vespa for a few days but it ended up costing like half the estimate and was ready the next day.
Definitely will stay my go to Vespa mechanic, I might stop in and pick up some oil/accessories just so I can pet sparkplug, Barry’s cute English bulldog

Can confirm with all the other reviews, Barry is a certified chiller. This dude let me call him multiple times to confirm whether or not to buy a Vespa from a private seller to make sure I got the best value. Nothing was overcharged when I got it serviced; he weirdly enough is the first salesman I’ve met that cares more about the rider than his own profits. Grade A person, highly recommend.

Barry and Austin were so helpful! I just purchased a used moped a few months ago and they were extremely thorough in diagnosing the issues it had (dying battery, leaking final gear oil, etc) before performing the first service. Barry taught me how to check my engine oil, and installed a top case and rear rack at my last minute request. These guys are super honest and know what they're doing, I will be bringing my moped back here as long as I remain in sf!

I have taken my 1980 Vespa P200e to Barry at SF Scooter Center for a few now and am amazed at the quality of work they do. I crashed my Vespa late last year and did some real damage so I took it Barry and they did such a great job that it looks better than it did when I first bought it. Nice friendly staff and Spark Plug too, the stores mascot... I will never go anywhere else, I highly recommend this place!

These guys are the best. They have been repairing and maintaining my 2 vespas for me for 4 years. I brought them my destroyed Vespa after it had been stolen and the recovered, and they did a great job finding parts and getting me back on the road as soon as possible and as cheap as possible. Most recently they saved me $700 when I broke my key and didn’t have a master key. They sent me photos of the chip that had fallen out of my key so that I could find it and they could clone it for the much much cheaper price of a simple spare key. You are in good hand with them!
