My husband and I had not intended to purchase a car when we visited San Francisco Honda two weekends ago. We were there to test drive a car and to get an appraisal on our Toyota Prius and Jeep Renegade. If it had not been for Jon Ruiz, we might still be test driving other vehicles elsewhere. As it was, because of him, we traded in our Prius and Renegade for a brand new, 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid.
From the moment we arrived at the dealership and Jon greeted us, we knew that we were in good hands. While we were on the showroom floor and during the test drive, he put us at ease and made us comfortable. And although he was motivated to sell us a car (obviously…that’s his job), he was not aggressive or pushy. Jon was knowledgeable and informative. He really listened to what my husband and I were looking for in our next car. And he encouraged us to select a make and model based on the features that we said were most important (or not) to us.
It was the same type of experience when it came to the negotiation process and the final sale. Jon made it clear that he wanted to do everything in his power to secure our purchase that day. But we also knew that he would respect our decision if we told him that we wanted to wait. Instead, we worked with him to get a fair price for a car that we absolutely fell in love with. Jon even secured us a loaner vehicle while we waited for the new car to come in, because they didn’t have the color that I wanted in their showroom.
I can’t speak highly enough of Jon and the entire San Francisco Honda team that worked with us. We encourage anyone in the Bay Area looking to by a car to visit San Francisco Honda and to ask for Jon. He will treat you as he would want to be treated if he was purchasing a vehicle for himself or a close member of his family. Thanks so much, Jon and SF Honda!

My Sales Rep Gian Carlo did not waste my time at all. He is well versed and no junk info was provided to me to make a quick decision to move forward by just sign and drive. Very courteous and friendly staff! Keep it up!

I’ve been bringing my old Civic here for the past 20 years for about 95% of my vehicle services. They’ve always been great and the staff is always courteous and informative. Wish they bring back the shuttle, which was a very nice bonus service. Just bought a new Civic from them and will be back for future maintenances too.

They offer you excellent service, they also explain very well all the paperwork for the purchase of a car, they help a lot with the financing for the purchase
The staff is very friendly, they treat customers very well, offering them coffee, water or a snack. I 100% recommend this dealership

Natalie at Honda service is by far the best customer service team member I’ve ever encountered. Her ability to answer complex issues, provide clear communication and offer me all of my options was top notch.
Of course it is not the cheapest but the value you get from their team is unmatched.

I forgot to take a photo while I was still at the shop as I was just too excited to bring my brand new car home. But my experience with SF Honda was amazing. My sales rep was Du and he made sure I was well-informed and was accomodating to my needs and concerns. Big shoutout to the manager who moved mountains making sure I could secure my first ever brand new Honda Accord as I am aware it was actually challenging to do so. If anyone is in the market for a new car, I highly suggest checking out SF Honda, whether you've decided for a specific model or if not yet, they'll give you an option according to your needs and/or wants.

Bought my new CRV hybrid from Benjamin Solomon and Van and had a great experience with both of them! They were easy to work with, tried their best to get me what I wanted, were not pushy on selling add ons, and wrapping up the work papers took a reasonable amount of time. Highly recommend this team and dealership!

I didn't have a great experience shopping there. To be fair, they gave me a good quote. It was a good price, so I went in for a test drive. I had made myself clear when I arrived that I wanted to see the car first and go back the next day to complete the purchase if it worked out. However, after the quick test drive, I was pressured to make the decision on the spot. Instead of answering my questions about the car, the sales gave me a bunch of irrelevant information, such as how bad Toyota is when I didn't even mention Toyota once. I ended up leaving the place unsatisfied and bought the car from another dealership mostly because of the buying experience. If they had more respect and patience, I would have bought from them.
