What a gem. Great sandwiches with the healthiest cut of pastrami I've ever seen. Fresh coffee. A fully stocked grocery store. The people working there are warm, funny, polite and personable. It's hard to find a store with this much of a welcoming atmosphere. Walmart, Target, trader Joe's, Safeway and whole foods could learn from this place. 6 Stars!

I recently tried Salem Market's sandwiches for the first time and was thoroughly impressed. The balance of ingredients is spot on, and the sourdough roll they use is just perfect - crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. It's easily one of the best sandwiches I've had in San Francisco, and I've been to quite a few delis around here. Definitely going back for more and would recommend anyone in the area to give it a try! Price was competitive also.

It's crazy how big it is inside, they will probably have exactly what you're looking for. You won't know the prices unless you ask meaning they will probably be on the expensive side but the store is conveniently located!

Thank you Salem Market for hosting us during NeighborWorks CLI food tour. I don't like onions or tomatoes and the sample sandwiches provided were so delicious that I even ate the tomatoes and onions. The best sandwiches I've ever had.

Seriously one of the best and freshest sandwiches, ever. I’m drooling just thinking about it. The bread was warm and perfectly soft, the meat and fillings were fresh and so much flavor. Great service and a neat little store.
