Beware of returns with Saks com! Returned an item with tags on, and Saks provided return label (which was a charge of $9.95 against the value of the return). They have confirmed they have the return, but after a week they have not credited my credit card. Unacceptable! Beware!
Update/Happy Ending: I was told they would take 2 more weeks from the time I called to process my refund, and confirmed if I had returned to a store I would have had an instant refund. Double standard!
Filed a dispute with my credit card company and the credit card company conditionally refunded me that day. Saks refundesmd me amazingly the following day, so the conditional refund was rightly canceled.
My advice .. Don't wait on Saks .. go to your credit card company if you send a return!!

Horrible customer service and return policy .I bought 3 pair of shoes different sizes and I kept the size that fit and returned the other 2. They refused the accept the return . I will never shop at Saks again.

The 1st floor is mainly for cosmetics and jewelry, the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors are for women's clothing, and the 5th floor is for men's clothing. The women's clothing floor is displayed in a spacious and comfortable environment, and there are also dressing rooms that blend into the environment. The whole store is like a boutique.
Many of the clothes on display are on sale at discounted prices. When I picked up the tags and looked at the prices, I could only take a breath and confirmed that this was a very high-end shopping place.
The counter service lady on the right side of the entrance on the first floor will proactively ask customers about their needs and make appropriate suggestions to make our purchase smooth and satisfying, which is great.

25+ shopper! Unbelievable lack of integrity. They returned a return! Then stated it was outside the return period. 2nd, the problem happened today. I asked for a price adjustment on an order placed on 5/5/24. I received it on 5/10/24, and today's the 16th!
I closed my Saks card; I will not be shopping here. Customer Service is non-existent. Feels like a shakedown.

Poor customer service. Scammy practices. As a new customer I signed up for their promo emails in order to get first order 10% discount, but the email did not arrive. In customer service they told me that it will arrive in 48-72 after I signed. So then they designed it so that the customer would not be able to use the discount for their first purchase (unless they want to wait 3 days). ALL other shops send that email to their new customers right away.
Needless to say they were bombarding me with the promo emails after that. So cheap, so scammy. Disappointed.

I feel so bad to write a negative comment about Saks while I’ve been a loyal customer for. But lately, all I’m getting from them is contradictory responses, bad service and lack of respect for customer. I have lots of examples: I made an online order and it arrived in a wrong color and a wrong style, the SF store didn’t accept it and I had to go a very difficult route of back and forth communication with customer service to make a return. While I didn’t get the item I wanted due to their mistake, I had to spend too much time returning and also pay the packaging fee; they also wanted to charge me for $9.9 for an online return, I got furious. Obviously the amount is less than negligible but a department store is taking advantage of its customers….Second example: I bought shoes in store and wanted to return in two weeks; I did not wear the shoes but they accused me of wearing it; I wish I could share the shoes picture and let the reader judge. But PLEASE please either switch to Neiman and Nordstrom designer store or take pictures of the sole of the shoes when you buy at Saks. They just try to get so unreasonable about everything, especially return and their so called promotions. This just put an end to my business with them.

I gave them one star for two reasons.
1. I ordered blazer and received worn blazer. There are stains, dry cleaning tag is attached and came with dry cleaning bag. I contacted their customer service. They said “Only way to solve is I need to go to branch and return it” which is so much trouble! There is no parking and I need pay for parking! Why I need to all this extra stuff because they sent me worn blazer. Unfortunately, I don’t have choice and I went there in person and exchanged that online order! They didn’t provide me any credit or discounts. They said we can only reorder it or return it. I didn’t expect this service from Saks Fifth.
2. I contacted their customer service and it’s terrible. I asked them I want to write reviews for recent purchase but they asked me why then didn’t allow me to write review. Also, I unsubscribed them but sent me bunch of junks everyday.
Saks Fifth is scam! I never ever go there again!

In this store the products are the best, in terms of brands and quality. The prices are high, but you will hardly find similar products in other stores

Terrible customer service, like others said, they DO NOT RESPECT refunds of unworn goods. I accidentally ordered a pair of boots, retail price, no sales, that would be impossible for me to wear, a size and a half too small, tried to return for an exchange less than a week after purchase and was refused. What do I do with these boots that I could never wear? Could take a note from Nordstrom’s customer service policies.

Great place to get some luxury Items like Make up Bags Clothing etc. Lots of choice
