Bad stocking too. When I went to this store to buy be Koool Soft gel sheet for my kid. They don't have in this store now. For long time ago I bought it here. And also some kind of milk they don't have anymore. Bad customer service as well. The New York steak was on sale with digital coupons on my phone App. I asked the meat department guy to help. He doesn't help me find the right one. He told me to look myself. Disappointed with this store with the management team.

The deli department needs major help the people there are either dumb or just blind they skip soo many people in line to help others and when they want to go help you they disappear such a rude and disrespectful place for them to do that. This place is just straight terrible.

In general, customers go to Safeway for the deals, I doubt anyone is expecting exceptional service and and cleanliness. However, I do expect to shop in peace without getting sexually harassed by the security guards and then gasllit by the supervisor who is trying to convince me to not make a formal complaint regarding this misconduct. Sexual harassment is obviously a problem at Safeway. This is not my first time experiencing this at this location but it was the most bold, and I no longer feel like brushing it off. Especially after the supervisor tried to convince me against making a formal complaint because "he sees what they go through as security guards, with all the shoplifting." I'm pretty shocked by this, but not really. Unfortunately I no longer feel safe at the Safeway in my neighborhood. To make matters worse, when I was obviously trying to NOT make a scene, and be discreet for my safety, the security guard who harassed me was brought over to where I was and forced to "apologize", which I can guarantee is not the best business practice in this situation. I have contacted HR At Albertsons headquarters and I will continue to pursue results in this case.

This is my local grocery store and I have been coming here ever since it opened. I had a minor issue with some flowers and went to the floral department and the woman there was willing to assist me but she was very short with me and not very nice. I went to the customer service and Maria B assisted me and she was just absolutely amazing. She was nice and understanding and she went above and beyond to make things right for me. I really appreciate her help and kindness. Free parking w $5 purchase.

It's like what the downtown San Jose location which closed many years ago. Was here about a week ago while I was up here and stayed at the hotel near this location. Therefore I shopped here for several items like water and cookies which were on sale. I was not pleased with the management especially a few of them. I had gone back to the location because I had left my phone misplaced on one of the carts. I thought that they would help me but no they were not helpful and told me that somebody had my phone. It's when I got angry and raised my voice. They did end up finding my phone. Supposedly someone turned it in. I was very happy as you might have expected. I thank the person who found my phone. However I did have another issue with one of the clerks who didn't validate for parking. Had to bring it up. She was not friendly. Might had a bad day. If I am up here in the future, I will not return here and instead go to either Whole Foods or Gus's which is near the hotel that I had stayed at. Shame on the management. By the way, you need to spend at least $5. Then please ask them to validate.

While I understand theft prevention measures, this location is starting to lock up everything (even honey!?) I don't want to feel like a criminal while shopping. Security spends more time following genuine paying customers around the store than actual shoplifters and I've witnessed it for myself. Staff is RUDE and very unfriendly. This store is just plain horrible and the garage smells horrendous it's a urinal

Worst Safeway I've ever been to, and that's saying a lot. Every single time I'm there. It denies all of my payment methods and I'm told I can't be helped and I leave without any food. I have asked for a manager several times to help me with check out because it denies my card and no one ever shows up. A total waste of time considering you can't even buy the food. The staff is also very rude, unhelpful and aggressive.

It's conveniently located in downtown SF mission Bay Area. Although the neighborhood is not the best for grocery shopping, overly priced grocery stuff and understandable it must be expensive here.

I always avoid this place if I can. It’s clean and organized, but the staff definitely aren’t happy working there and it shows. It seems to attract crazy/drugged up people and there’s often some drama with security shoving someone yelling out of the store. No thanks.

This Safeway is routinely understaffed around 8am on the weekdays. Its gotten to the point where I get to the register to buy the few things and then look at the line and decide to put them back on the shelf. The same thing happens at the deli with the line and one worker. It has nothing to do with the actual workers there. I'm kinda surprised at their individual speed and efficiency to be honest. There's just not enough of them to make it at all convenient to shop here. Whoever staffs this place is more or less giving the finger to whoever wants to pay for their items.

One of the few Safeways that is open until late in San Francisco-- supposedly until midnight--it frequently closes in advance of midnight. For example this evening I drove from the Castro and arrived at approximately 11:50 pm, only to find it already had closed.

Good store, although layout is a bit weird - a tradeoff with location I guess. Good to have this store located here.Be aware they stop letting people in well before closing time. Wanted to grab a drink/snack after a show for the midnight Caltrain home, but they were already not letting people in at 11:45pm
