Absolutely scrumptious quesadilla! Spending a long weekend in the city I get a late night craving for good Mexican food. I discovered this Yelp recommend taqueria in a liquor store Friday and Saturday nights. I suppose a sort of pop-up kitchen. I was devastated when Friday they didn't have the food kitchen going. I was reassured by the charming store owner that I could come back the next night for their food that she highly recommended. I returned and she remembered me and pointed out to the celebrated chef that I was the person she had hoped would return. How awesome is that! Well the Carnitas Quesadilla exceeded already high expectations. Looking forward to trying more items there soon!

Little convenience store with alcoholic and soft drinks as well as packaged snacks. Also a little grill in the back with delicious tacos and other street food- especially if you’re coming from one of the nearby bars.

Absolutely exorbitant prices. Cheaper to have Safeway delivered to you.Edit: Roadside Roadkill's responded to my review, expounding on how they don't have the resources to charge fair prices... but they somehow did have time to write a FOUR HUNDRED AND SEVENTY SEVEN WORD RESPONSE to my review. You can decide for yourself if that's a credible response and if you want to spend $8 on a bottle of water.

Never go there, tried just to get a pack of cigarettes 10 minutes before closing time just to be shouted at “ah ah ah ah go away, don’t go in without asking”, worst woman ever, should not be allowed to be handling customers. if you’re open until 11 you are open until 11. Otherwise don’t be open until 11. Don’t blame your customers for closing early.

Hands down the best quesadillas in the city. The tacos look great, too, but I haven't tried them because the quesadilla is too damn good to even think of ordering something else. My buddy got the nachos, which were LOADED with chicken, beans, and cheese. This place is a hidden gem.

RACIST RUDE LADY! I was in San Francisco for my birthday and we decided to stop by and get some liquor to take back to the hotel that we were staying at. It was about 20 minutes to closing we went in me my brother my boyfriend and my cousins went and we were looking at the wall of liquor and the Lady was migging us up and down, giving us a nasty look! Then while we're trying yo decide she literally tells us "are you going to buy something or not" mind you there was no one in there & after we came in she got a bunch of customers you're welcome hag! Never spending my money there again! While I was paying for my liquor she ID me and when I was paying she proceeded to ID my boyfriend, literally tryna press him, mind you I'm the one paying! Obviously he's of age but damn! Hella rude!!! I only gave one star because I had to to leave a review! As a Mexican myself I'm disappointed in the way that lady acted. Literally. I couldn't even find it in my heart to say thank you, this lady is nasty!

This place is a hidden gem in a North Beach, it's located in a liquor store and the food is only open Friday and Saturday 3:00pm-11:30pm. Grabbed some food to go and I wasn't expecting it to be so good, the carnitas was flavorful, tender and juicy. We also tried a chicken tostada and Pastor, both were great but the carnitas was the star of the show. I don't remember the prices, but it worth it and the people behind the counter were super nice. The vibe is what it is, a liquor store with a little spot for making the food. Def a place to go, especially after going to a show or a local bar.

So, we had two empanadas (chicken) were so good my nine year old ate both and gave us parents just a taste. The two tamales (one chicken and one cheese and jalapeño) both were excellent as well. The banana leaves that they’re wrapped in made the masa taste as such. Street taco (two pork and two beef) were fully loaded and the homemade tomatillo sauce was perfect. Then finally the torta (pork as well) my favorite, had all the fixins and just put the meal over the top. All this was made by their executive chef, and close personal friend of mine Osbel. If you get over to North Beach please give them a try. By the way owner Rosy is sweet and inviting, you love this place, trust me.

Enjoying my first visit to the beautiful San Fransisco, and I like to drink. I always find a local spot to get myself a nice taste to save on liquor. I was impressed with the reviews of Rosy's liquor so I had to go here. This little place has such a large selection on every type of liquor with pretty good prices. What I appreciated most though was Rosy. We had a really good conversation and she is such a wonderful person with a beautiful spirit. She said customer service is important to her and she definitely delivers that. I felt like I've been coming here forever. Besides the great selections of alcohol, they also serve authentic Mexican cuisine. Amazing! I'm so glad I was able to shop here and meet such a nice person. Highly recommend to visitors like myself and even if you are a local.

$27 for a bottle of pop, a chocolate bar, a bag of crisps and a tube of toothpaste. Guess they must have applied the tourist tax. Tea leaves.
