It’s a tourist trap, I knew that going in. But just was such a weak spot. Our son loves their books and when we knew we would be near a Ripley’s he was so excited to go. But even as a hug fan it just felt very tired and dated. The only thing saving this from 1 star, was the mirror maze at the end. Our 8 and 6 year old loved it and couldn’t stop laughing.Save your money and enjoy the many other things the city has to offer.

There is no better experience for tourists to remember Fisherman’s Wharf by. Ripley’s is quite an interesting experience to hold on to when you return from a trip to San Francisco, California.

I remembered screaming my butt out when one of the platforms "collapsed" in the second floor; I shrieked so loudly that the guests on the lobby floor heard it. It was embarrassing, but it was my first time when I was in my high school years. My dad and brother laughed at me for being a fraidy-cat, but the tour through the exhibits were great. If I can pause time, I'll get a chance to return to this awesome building.

Came with with a friend while visiting San Francisco and it definitely didn’t disappoint! I love learning cool new things and here I learned so many! There’s a lot of really unique exhibits and rare things i didn’t even think would exist! I love all the interactive displays, those were def my fav! I wish they had the Alcatraz Items here instead of the Orlando location… idk just makes sense since this one is so close to Alcatraz. Definitely check out the mirror maze too!! It wasn’t too busy when we went and we happened to get a tour from the manager which was also really neat! Def worth a visit!

We paid $46 per person (there was 4 of us which came to like $184) for 4 activities. Ripley's, a mirror maze, a 3D zombie killing movie and a 7D flying movie. The maze is at Ripley's but the other 2 are at Pier 39. The 8D movie is not worth it, it causes some motion sickness (and I don't get that often). Kids had fun though and that was rhe point!

We stopped by here during our trip to San Francisco. The price for the attraction is about double what it should have been after going through the whole thing. That could be because I didn't particularly care for the exhibits but others might. There were very few people inside besides us.My biggest issue was the two young ladies who worked there seemed completely disinterested in the customers. They acted more as if we were an inconvenience.

You can buy tickets at the wax museum as a package deal. Pricey, but it's definitely fun. I love Ripley's. I grew up in LA, so the first time I went ro Ripley's in Hollywood, I thought it was the coolest thing. Anything strange, an oddity and abnormal or strange, tends to be interesting for me. Shrunken heads, cool paintings, masks, interactive fun, interesting statues and carvings, stories and facts that are shared in each room. The collections that come from all the countries Ripley had traveled through are definitely amazing.

A good museum to see oddities from around the world . I find it amusing to see all the stories told by Ripley. There must be some fact checking on some of the items but it's entertaining to hear the stories. A fun place in San Francisco Fisherman's Wharf to explore .

Ripped off by Ripley's Believe It or Not ! I have been going to Ripley's Believe It or Not in San Francisco since I was a teenager. It's always really cool to walk through and view so many types of Oddities like the world's tallest man, a real shrunken head, the Golden Gate Bridge made in toothpicks, Etc. I remember spending at least 2 hours walking through and having fun, so many different interactions. One of my favorite Parts was always walking through the 1906 earthquake display. Well it's been 15 years since I've been there and I took my adult daughter and 6-year-old granddaughter to check it out. First, it cost $30 a piece for all three of us to go into the museum. I thought $30 was a lot for a 6-year-old child. We didn't know at the time that the price included RIPLEY'S MARVELOUS MIRROR , a maze with 100 mirrors and LED lighting in which you have to find your way out of. This maze is what took over the space of many attractions within the museum , which includes the San Francisco experience of the earthquake etc. It was a Complete waste of time and money. I was so upset because we could have done something fun at Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli Square or ate in a nicer restaurant at the end of the night. Very unimpressed, I felt very ripped off by Ripley! I could think of so many better things that could be on Jefferson Street to get people to come in and actually have a good time. I hate having to write a review about this museum being so awful but I had to. Don't waste your time. Go to Pier 39 and see the aquarium, take a drive down Lombard Street or maybe even the bus tours. Anything is better than Ripley's Believe It or Not in San francisco.

Fun tourist attraction if you've never been before. Get the hall of mirrors and Madame Tussaud"s add-ons/bundle if they're offered. There's a lot of reading and staring at crazy things, and a couple of interactive exhibits so allow at least an hour as a quick walk through. Bring some cash for the shooting gallery and insect snack machine!

Ripley's! Believe it or I don't. haha negativity why? Ripley's harkens Coney Island and old times..the penny arcade the circus..old times and it says Victorian Era. There are locations in USA maybe on East Coast and in California. I visited for the first time and it was funny and it makes fun of anthropology. And then I told my professor that I visited all these museums at the Wharf in SF. I had to eat and I saw a family and walked out the door and then I walked at the Wharf for Christmas gifts. I don't know everything about Ripley. Read more.

Our family loved it (8, 9, 44 and 46 year-olds). There is lots to see in high quality interactive sets. So much fun stuff! The shadow wall, the walk-through kaleidoscope, the two-way mirror, Mirror maze at the end. It would be great if they had a Ripley's Museum part of the museum where it had historical artifacts/collectibles/memorabilia old merch and Ripley's related and a gift/souvenir shop!
