Fascinating collection of ephemera esp bright graphic posters from as early as the 1880s or so maybe earlier. Saw a few Mucha items and many travel posters and war propaganda posters. Ended up buying an awesome travel to Normandy poster featuring art by Dali made for French tourism. Got it sent directly home so I wouldn't crumple it in transit. Thank you Joe for your knowledge and enthusiasm for these vintage posters!

I ordered a movie poster. The owner directly communicated to me on their very easy to use site. He guided me when I was not sure about the next step he did not hesitate to help me. He was honest about the representation of the item. Delivered it promptly . Wrapped it up like it had the nuclear secrets wrapped inside. Included a certificate of authenticity. Forwarded recommendations on care and framing of the poster. I would purchase from this business again. Attention to detail and cares about customer service. Thank you.

Recently visited Real Old Paper in Fisherman's Wharf (San Francisco) and had the pleasure of chatting with owner and decent dude, Andrew England. Everything in Real Old Paper is curated and owned by Andrew. He is a private collector that has amassed an impressive collection of original movie posters, advertisements, and exclusive images. Now, in fairness, I asked how does Andrew ensure authenticity and he walked me through the process of estate sales, family auctions, and working with other private dealers in which a network of professional's are available. The prices of the posters, which varies in sizes, range from a few hundred to a few thousands. If you are looking for something niche, original, and conversation driving, his shop is worth a visit. He was a very kind man with great stories. Definitely check this place out.

I highly recommend Real Old Paper and its owner, Andrew England. I have collected old posters for several decades and had to dispose of some when I closed my office to retire. I asked Andrew if he could sell them for me and he did. He was very easy to deal with, straight forward and incredibly honest. It took a while to sell them because of the pandemic, but he was great about emailing me regarding the status of my stuff.I haven't bought from him because I did my buying before he opened his shop but I have looked at his inventory. I am very impressed with the breadth of his collection and his prices are very fair. Check him out! He is a really good guy.
