This place is great! I needed to get a bridesmaid dress hemmed on short notice and they took great care of it. Very kindly people. Give them your business, you won’t regret it.

My family and I have been utilizing their services for years now. They are a great tailor/dry-cleaning spot with fair prices which can be rare to find in the city. I have used asked them to tailor a variety of my clothes and have always come out of it satisfied. Most recently, I had them clean some white pants to remove dirt on them, but they were not able to fully hence the deducted star. The owner Sam and his family are also extremely kind and welcome everyone into their shop with a smile. When claiming your order, please make sure to bring cash as they are a small, local business!

I was pretty convinced I had stained my dress beyond repair but Progress Cleaners really saved it! I found this place through the eco-friendly dry cleaners that Reformation recommended on their website. Everything was very straightforward and Sammy was thorough. And even though I lost my ticket (), he was able to find the dress because it was logged on their system. Everything was great: wonderful cleaning, timely work, and friendly service.

This is the first ever altercation service I've ever used so I was honestly quite nervous and didn't know what to expect. All I can really say is that Progress Cleaners went above and beyond my expectations and altered my much too large pants down to exactly my size. Upon entering, I was greeted immediately by a very friendly sweet gentleman who explained to me the process of an altercation and asked if I wanted my pants tailored a certain way. He had such attention to detail and let me know he can even alter it to best accommodate my level of activity to extend the life of my pants as much as possible. THANK YOU for making my first experience such a welcome and pleasant one. Definitely recommend this business for anyone who is looking for friendly, affordable, FAST service!

They lost $2000 worth of my clothes for 3 weeks. I came back 4 times over 3 weeks helping them try to find them. It was preposterous. When I asked for a partial refund they said I was privileged and that they never guaranteed they wouldn’t lose items. So if you want to keep your clothes - do NOT go here

This is the only review I’ll write on google because this amazing business deserves to have more customers! I took in my stuffed animals to get patched up seamlessly, had dresses dry cleaned and returned spotless and in a timely manner, and service is always courteous and fast. I used this place for 3 years and never heard of anyone having any complaints. Parking nearby can be tricky and is extremely hard, but the 22 and 38/38R busses have stops right by, so it’s easily accessible. You don’t have to pay until you get your things picked up, but if you wanted to pay early, you could. The owner always waved to me when I walked down the street. I always tipped! Best place ever.

This drycleaners is one I would avoid personally. I do empathize with the owners of this place because the Fillmore has not always been as quiet as it is now but the overall vibe I got from here made me keep searching for a higher level of professionalism from my dry cleaners. I had brought in a few items to be altered and although we did discuss at length the style I was looking to achieve when I got the garment back it was not what I expected. I did not argue at all simply paid and left it as a lesson. Essentially what I was attempting to accomplish was to make a pair of track pants into a more modern cut. What I got back was high water pants which were essentially useless to me and I believe I ended up donating. I also brought in a suit that I wanted altered and I was upsold on how I should just buy a new one. Not exactly what I like to hear when I am able and willing to spend money... Overall this place is a place I would be weary of being of African decent. You're as likely to get your items done incorrectly as you are to have them not do them at all. Clean and press I would bring by for that only but any sort of alterations I would shop around. As you can see from my other reviews I have not had the most pleasant experiences lately in The Bay Area...However! I write these reviews based on my experience so that others will benefit from the experiences that I have. But always do your own research!

This dry cleaner is amazing! I have dropped off a few things for alterations and a couple for dry cleaning. I am always impressed by their courteousness, speed, and handiwork. Their prices are fair too! I'm so happy I found a reliable dry cleaner in the area.

BEST CLEANERS IN SF. I’ve been to 4 different cleaners and alterations places around Pac Heights and this one has the best prices, quality, and customer service. Family run business. They’re so kind and attentive to detail.$8 to make the waist of jeans tighter, which is usually $20 at other places. $3 to sew clothing, which is usually $6 at other places. Go here and support this business!!
