This is a very conveniently located golf course in the city, with plenty of parking and a very good driving range. I am not too excited about the artificial grass turf at the range, but, overall, as they say, the best course is the one you use all the time. And I do like the accessibility and convenience. I am also probably one of few who actually likes the fog and less sun. So, this is a perfect location for me. I have also taken several lessons here and found them all to be outstanding. I feel like I have improved my game here and I highly recommended this course, especially the driving range.

Had a really great time doing the one hour golf clinic with Morgan Wright! He started us off with detailed instructions on grip, posture, and ball position. Then we each hit some balls while he gave each person pointers on our posture and swings. We were allowed to continue practicing hitting balls after the one hour clinic time was up. Really enjoyed the clinic and appreciate that they make these lessons more accessible. Morgan was responsive to questions and made learning fun.

Played a charity tournament, best ball. Unbelievable course, not overly challenging until you putt, pretty open, no water hazards really. They have this course in top notch shape. The greens are immaculate ?. Very challenging putting made it a fun day when we finally made some putts.

Absolutely gorgeous views, interesting holes, well maintained. Also, right in the middle of the city! Weekdays are best, as it’s cheaper and relatively easy to get a tee time. I DO NOT recommend renting a golf cart unless you struggle physically with elevation. The zones where you can drive the carts are highly restrictive. 100 yards from the greens, and no where near “hills” even when they are not steep. (Usually it’s 30th) Wonderful course to walk though and I had a great time

Nice GC. Enjoyed the ambiance. narrow fairways. fairways are tough. u have to really follow through on ur swing. rough are 3x harder. tall grass. greens are slow, putt with intent to pass the hole. for this course suggest u leave ur woods n hybrids at home and just go with the long irons. gave it a 5* cause the course was well maintained and i like the scenery.

Not the San Francisco course I wanted to play, but glad I did. Pace of play was good for a weekend. Facilities and grounds were in great shape. Pretty good price for a bay area course as a non sf resident.

I haven't golfed in years but the Presido was a no pressure, great experience even for a novice like myself. My friend and I started with brunch at the restaurant inside. They had a surprisingly large selection of both food and drinks. Afterwards we hit the driving range and then the putting field. Seriously relaxing. I forgot how much fun golfing can be. This place is really great would reccomend for sure and I'll definitely be back.

Beautiful course, best in the area. Pro shop/clubhouse staff nice and friendly when checking in, and great service at the clubhouse diner for breakfast. Delicious bfast and drinks also. Great deal on golf when paying 125 that includes a cart and a small bucket to warm up.I which I could leave 5 stars, but I cant because the marshall scolded us for being too slow despite of the fact that we were playing 15 mins ahead of the placard checkpoint schedule. That soured the experience a bit, as the pace of play expectations werent clear. It’s either keep up with the group in front, which werent putting, or keep up with our given schedule. I’d say for the marshall staff to clear up the pace of play expectations for other golfers so they dont sour the 130 dollar experience. Also, the 3rd member in our party grabbed a cart but he was told by the starter he had to share with the single that was paired with us due to it being weekend golf. Sure, np, none of us wouldnt have minded. However, the group after us had one cart per each of the 4 golfers. Again, consistent expectations, you play faster when everyone has a cart, especially ones that have the micromanaging GPS.Great course, just hope the course staff clears up expectations for all players and consistently applies them because we felt we were treated unfairly

Beautiful course, very tough bunkering around the greens, we even saw a coyote crossing a fairway.

Nice course with a very funny starter on the 1st tee. But I am a bit disappointed that it was difficult for us to locate a garbage can throughout the course. So, unless you are riding a cart, bring a garbage bag with you. Otherwise, bring your best game because it’s scrambling time.

First off I just want to say that the course is beautiful and it is definitely challenging with the elevation changes, the problem I had with Presidio is if I’m going to pay $115 for a round then I don’t want to have the added challenge of trying to hit around greenskeepers on the greens and in the fairway for multiple holes. My group and I found ourselves having to wait on multiple holes while either a greenskeeper was watering the greens or 3 guys blasting their leaf blowers on the green while we’re 40 yards out trying to approach the green. One of our group members was trying to hit in the middle of the fairway and a guy just casually drove his tractor 20 yards in front of him without any consideration for our group members shot. We also didn’t find out is was cart path only until we checked in with the starter as we were about to tee off. I’ve paid way less for a round and have greater experiences at other courses. I just can’t justify paying $115 while feeling like I’m playing in a Greens Keeper Revenge tournament.

Awesome golf course with great back drop of San Fransisco. A lot of elevation changes throughout the track thus taking a cart is advised. Played 1/31/23

I love this course but last time I played there, there was a legit pond on the fairway. The tee boxes and the greens were chewed up from the city championship I guess. The course didn’t notify us or offer a 20% off greens fee for the course being in poor shape, the 20% thing is quite common when a course is in bad shape. This is just a heads up to people to check proactively I suppose
