1300 Evans Ave Ste 30, San Francisco“Hi Family
This post office is very user friendly.
Customer service is great.
I was trying to renew a passport and the clerk was very helpful.”
“I really enjoy coming to this location. The staff are very kind, patient, and courteous. You rarely have to wait if at all 5-7 mins. This post office is a neighborhood gem.”
“I can't say enough good things about this Post Office! The staff goes above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service. They patiently answered all my questions, helped me navigate through the mailing process, and even provided packing supplies for my fragile items. With their expertise and attention to detail, I know I can trust them with all my important shipments.”
“This was always one of my favorite Post Offices living in San Francisco. Visiting after 15 years away and it's still great. Helpful & friendly staff. Had supplies available to purchase for what I needed to send. Clearly explained options for mailing.”
“Of all the post offices I've been to in the Bay Area this is by far the best one. They are efficient, quick and organized when processing transactions. Unlike other post office locations that follow a pace of plate tectonics. This is the only post office I go to. Excellent service that other locations should try to duplicate, but they won't. Highly recommend this Post Office”
“Just stopped by to mail my passport. Genuinely surprised by how nice the staffs were after reading all these google reviews. Was served by one of the Filipina ladies, who greeted me, was very helpful, gave me a good information, and said thank you at the end. Nothing rude like what's said by the other reviewers.”
“Generally a very good post office that takes care of lines quickly (mostly because we gays are always on the go and know what we want) and there is a lot of self-service supplies available as opposed to some city post offices where almost everything is locked up or depleted.
My only complaint is the lack of empathy for older clientele who struggle with computers. My client wanted to renew his PO Box and pay for another 6 months and the lady at the counter just kept repeating "ITS PAID TIL SEPTEMBER! GO TO THE WEBSITE!" Well, that's only 2 months away and the rate is $108/6 mo. Why can't we pay for his extension now? And I said probably three times that he gets frustrated using their website. He has renewed this way dozens of times including a few months ago. She could've made our lives a lot easier by processing a basic renewal.”
“I had a complicated situation this morning with international shipping. The attendant went out of his way to help me with the forms and re-boxing. Thanks so much!”
“I've always found this location to be the most efficient. Waiting in line, even during Covid, never takes too long. All of the staff here are friendly and helpful, too.”
“This is my neighborhood post office and came through for me big time when I needed to mail out 150+ individual parcels for work. The staff here are kind and hardworking. Special thank you to Grace and Crystal for their heroic patience weighing and labeling all of my packages.”

558 Presidio Blvd Ste B, San Francisco“Like most post offices, they're understaffed, but if you go in the off times it's usually quick. Very conveniently located and the staff couldn't be nicer and more personable.”
“I visit quite often and the staff is always so helpful. Eliza has great customer service skills as she is always ready to help and is so friendly. Good place to get things mailed.”
“Convenient with plenty of free parking. The clerks are very helpful and take time with each customer to make sure things are correct. The space is well lit and very clean. No complaints!”
“The staff is what makes this place really great. The person at the counter helped me pick the right type of shipping and the best size of box to minimize cost. They're incredibly helpful and professional, even if the line is long.
Note: USPS charges you for tape! If you don't want to pay, then either bring tape or tape your packages at home. Even if you have to buy tape, it's still often cheaper than UPS or FedEx.”
“Excellent customer service when I go in. Wish the PO boxes, money orders & international postal rates were less expensive. (Thus, the 4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️s instead of 5.) Only post office in city where you can access your own PO box 24 hrs/day. Also, I love going to the Embarcdero & piers nearby. This is my go-to post office. ?”
“I’ve had great luck at this spot. Excellent customer service etc. I regularly drop off packages here without a hitch. Gary is especially concerned with doing things correctly, an asset to the postal service.”
“I honestly don’t understand how this USPS has 2.7 stars. I find the workers to be super friendly and efficient, and they always propose ways to save money on shipping. Love my neighborhood USPS!”

450 Golden Gate Ave, San Francisco“Warning you will need to go through security on the south side (if you come from the north, they’ll make you walk around outside). It’s located in the basement. Another warning is that there is no signal (or Wi-Fi) bc it’s in the basement, so if you need a QR code, take a screenshot of it beforehand.Celipe (I may have gotten the name kind of wrong, but he’s an older gentleman), was very friendly and helpful. There was no wait either! I was in and out in minutes!”

68 Leland Ave, San Francisco“I have experience nothing but good service from this location. Charleston is very good at what he does, he’s helpful in every way. He help me open my first PO Box. it was done fast and efficient, it took him less than 5 minutes!”
“Today this post office has a worker who has great customer service skills. Watching him taking care of 4 customers and very professional and helpful. What a difference from the last time I was here!”
“Kindest post office in the US! I needed to send a package and wasn’t sure what’s the best way to do. The lady was kindly checked and gave me an advice, and the gentleman after I packed and pay was also kind. There’s only 2-3 people on line and service was very fast and efficient. Thank you!”
“This is the post office I use more than any other in the city because the people are so helpful and nice. Whatever criteria the USPS is using to choose who works at this store, keep it up! My favorite one in town by far.”
“Bear in mind that for passports without an appointment, only two walk-ins are allowed, so spots are taken as early as 8am... Staff is kind and helpful. You can also get your passport pictures taken here and staff will make copies of your documents so you dont need to bring copies (but it's nice if you do come prepared). Once the post office opens, walk-ins are to enter through the hallway towards the blue door at the end of hallway and line-up. If no attendant comes to meet you at 9am sharp, ring the bell (black button on the left of blue door).”
“A beautiful post office and friendly staff. Ms Mei helped me to pack my package and it was so complicated she calmly helped. Absolutely she made me feel so great. Thank you”

2755 San Bruno Ave, San Francisco“I recently visited the USPS office near my home and had a fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and courteous, making my visit quick and efficient. The office was well-organized, with clear signage and ample space for customers. Despite the busy atmosphere, the employees remained calm and focused, providing excellent service to everyone. I was impressed by their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction. Overall, I highly recommend this USPS office for anyone in the area needing mailing or shipping services.”
“considering that this is not a full service post office, the employees here are incredibly committed to making sure you get your mail. I had problems with a package that had a very important family heirloom and the three different ladies that helped me were all so amazing and I am forever indebted to them! These people definitely care!! americas tax dollars are being put to good work at this location!”
“Wonderful service! There is also a self-serve option to scan in your own packages so you can get in and out very quickly. They accept UPS, FedEx, and USPS so it's a great one-stop shop!”
