If I am booking a “Master Stylist” for a blowout, they need to possess Master Stylist skills. I paid over $100 for a blow out, it took an hour and 15 minutes, I waked out and my hair frizzed. Too much product and I had to go home and redo my hair which was difficult because so much product was used my hair felt dirty. My hair looked better when I waked in. I have tried this salon twice and have been disappointed both times. I was very clear about my expectations but I guess you have to have stick straight, oily hair to get a good blowout. No talent needed for that type of hair.

I see lily for blowouts and she is truly a gem!! I am super picky about my blowout (I also have extensions), but she crushes it every time. I leave feeling so beautiful!! She has such good energy and a cool vibe.

Lily is very talented and the best stylist to do your blonde highlights. I have gone to her twice for full highlights, a few months apart, and I have loved each experience! She is very personable, and she actively listens to what you want done on your hair. She goes the extra mile to put in as many foils as it takes to achieve the blonde you are looking for! I highly recommend Lily for your next full or partial blonde highlight appointment.

Came for a blowout & cut! I was happy with the results, and everyone was friendly. I had a video that I showed the stylist (Michelle) and she delivered! Booking the appointment was also easy, and everything went smoothly. The only thing that wasn't great was the washing hair basin in the back. I came twice (one for a cut and another time for a blowout), and both times, it was uncomfortable. Other than that, the location of the salon is great, and things were clean. I'd recommend it!

Returning to Lily for the second time was just as fantastic as the first. Once again, her partial highlight technique left my blonde hair looking flawless. She takes her time, but the time spent in the chair is worth the amazing hair she delivers. She's super meticulous and detailed. The baby root shadow she applied made the blend even more beautiful, ensuring there were no visible stripes. I love how natural the grow-out looks and I can go a few months between appointments- which was what I wanted when we did our consultation (bright blonde but lower maintenance). Lily's consistency in delivering exceptional results has made her my go-to hairdresser. Highly satisfied with my second experience!

I don't often leave reviews, but knew I had to for Lily as that's how I was lucky enough to find her! My fine hair had been severely damaged by a hairdresser who didn't listen to my warnings of my hair not being strong enough to handle bleach. I lost significant length from all the breakage and was scared to try a new hairdresser, as this had happened once before too (and as we all know, hair damage is devastating!). I took to Yelp and did a whole lot of research, only to find the highly recommended Lily right here at my neighborhood salon (SO convenient being right on Fillmore!). As others have said, she saved my hair! She is so passionate, patient, and works magic. She takes the time and energy to do as many foils as it takes to deliver the best results, really listens to you, is oh so talented, and not to mention a total sweetheart. She's an artist (and as she explained to me, scientist / chemist) and truly loves what she does, which is so evident. Lily has done my hair twice in the past few months and it's looking and feeling much better, and she has a long term plan to help it fully recover and look my best! She really knows what she is doing, and makes the whole thing a great and relaxing experience. Highly recommend visiting Posh Salon, and booking your apmt with Lily - she's FABULOUS.

I am not one to leave reviews but I went here for a blowout and the stylist completely fried my hair. I am going to have to get a major haircut. I've gotten many blowouts at other salons before and this has never happened. Really disappointed, this should not happen at a blow dry bar!

MICHELLE IS A HAIR MAGICIAN! I had my hair ruined at a salon I won't name downtown. I had been a bleach and tone for 6 years and was devastated when my stylist retired. I needed someone to do my platinum and had decided to do a more low maintenance look that includes a blended root. The woman did a partial highlight and afterwards my roots were gold and my highlight pattern was terrifying. I made the mistake of letting the same woman try to correct her mistake. It was even worse the second time. My poor bleached hair broke off and was so sad. I immediately called Posh at the recommendation of my friend, whose hair Michelle has done for years. Michelle has 18 years of experience and literally saved my life. She blended everything so perfectly, guided me through every step and explained her thinking, nailed the tone I was looking for, and was such a nice person. She is an amazing listener- and she is also great at cutting hair! Thank you so much Michelle- you saved me and my hair and my life. I will never let another person touch my hair again. If you need a blonde specialist- look no further!! Thank you!!

This review is for Lily, the only gal that gets to touch my hair. She's done such an incredible job each time she's colored my hair, bringing me from a mousy brown to a stunning ash blonde without any damage to my hair. She's always very receptive to ideas and walks you through her process which is a huge anxiety relief for me. Super friendly, very efficient, and a joy to be around. If you're looking for blonde, Lily is your girl!

Lovely salon, nice people and great blow out. Plus they and sell Kerastase, my preferred brand. This is my new blow dry spot in SF.
