Quality is not up to par with the price. Would be better off with boxed wine.

I know nothing about wine, I'm a cocktail guy. So I go in because I've heard this is the place to go for wine guidance. Instead, I was met with condescension. The general manager and the resident wine geek ( the main guy?) made me feel like I was a schmuck for coming in. I simply asked a few questions of one of the sales reps. They didn't know how to answer my question and they were treated like s*it for that. I apparently committed the cardinal sin of not knowing that Primitivo and Zinfandel were the same thing. Jfc, I'm a monster!Needless to say I went elsewhere.

I bought a bottle of merlot here several weeks ago and it was overpriced, and of poor quality. It tasted worse than Night Train Express. I decided to give them another try and bought a California Zinfandel which was also overpriced and not very tasty.I don't care for the owner either, he always talks down to his customers like he knows better than everyone else. Seems like a bit of an elitist, if you ask me. A while ago he was requiring all of his customers to wear masks but refused to wear one himself. What a hypocrite! I would NOT go back. Save your money and go to BevMo instead.

This neighborhood location offers a ton of bottles in their shop. I was seeking alcohol free and was happy they had a small selection of alcohol free wine and spirits. Friendly staff. Thank you!

Take a hint from King Tyrant. If you have a PMA or private membership association instead of a regular business, then you can stay open too during a pandemic just like the tyrant did with his own business, defying his own orders he expects the citizens to follow. Private membership associations is THE way to turn California around. This wine tastes like tyranny by the way. Don't recommend it.

What is there NOT to love about this wine shop. Well curated mix of old and new world wines. The main players in the bourbon, rum and spirits game JUST in case you aren't a wine fan (or just need to up your Elderflower game last minute). But most importantly, an extremely knowledgeable (read nerdy, in a good way) staff. It's the perfect storm for a neighborhood shop. Be about that wine life. Most importantly (last one I swear), is I'm a Vivino addict, and I'll price compare right in front of your face with no shame. Their prices are mostly on the mark!!! Most importantly for a wine shoppe (I lied, sue me) , is they are happy to give you options at every price point. Winning!!!!!! Cheers.

Always enjoy shopping for wine at Plumpjack on Fillmore Street especially because of the good price points and thoughtful suggestions. Dina has helped me out the last few visits and am loving her recommendations. Thanks, Dina. It's a pleasure to support this local business. Check it out!

John is a seasoned professional wine expert and entertainer. Our party of seven had hours of fun and sampled over 20 wines at his establishment. If you have the opportunity to visit this location, we highly recommend it. We ended up purchasing a few wines, olive oil, and aperitifs.

Lots of homeless people around. I don't feel safe in this area. Not worth the risk for mediocre wine. I go to trader Joe's where its safer and cheaper
