Linda was very easy to work with and her price was very competitive. She had a wide selection to choose from and gave me some good advice on what could work best in the three bedrooms I was recarpeting. The installers were very efficient and helpful. Some of the other firms wanted me to hire movers or other laborers to move the large furniture, but this wasn't necessary with Pioneer. Installing carpet is a giant hassle, but this went about as well as possible.

We have used Pioneer Home Supply several times over the past 30 years. Linda is very knowledgeable, and she goes far and beyond to give friendly and professional help. Their prices were also substantially lower than the other places we priced. When I asked for a durable carpet, she gave me one for my tenant's apartment that lasted for 30 years.

I am now carpeting my 3rd home with Linda and Pioneer. Everything that led me to write a 5-Star review in 2008 held true in 2014 and now again in June 2021. If Yelp allowed you to write ONE 6-Star review in your lifetime, Pioneer Home Supply would be the place I awarded it.

Linda is great to work with. Gave me 20 samples close to what I wanted so I could find the one. Her crew did a beautiful job and her charge was more than fair. And a nice person. You can't do better.

We used Pioneer Home Supply 18 years ago and just hired Linda again to recarpet our 4000 square foot home in Auburn, CA.. We selected Fabrica carpeting locally and got two local bids plus Linda's and we saved thousands by choosing Linda. Our carpet selection had to be Special ordered from the mill in so-Cal. It was produced a week sooner than estimated, and Joel and his crew arrived on time and on schedule for a three day installation. The house was chaos with all the old carpeting ripped out when PG&E decided to cut power to over 600,000 northern CA homes. Luckily we had a generator that provided power on one floor of our two story home. Joel and his staff were troopers, using flashlights and long extension cords to work the remaining two days under far less than desirable conditions. They cleaned up all of the mess and left at the end of day three - and we still had no power for another 24 hours.... The carpet installation was excellent, no wall markings, and everything vacuumed afterwards. We have a tall curved staircase that turned out awesome. I would highly recommend Linda and Pioneer Home Supply to any northern CA homeowner!

For there to be good, there must be some bad. I do not doubt there have been good installs by Pioneer, but our experience was poor. We were recommended Pioneer by a friend. Linda is a nice lady and knows her products. She was patient and not pushy. We were in conversation for two jobs, a bedroom carpet & attached bath LVT floor, and about 3000sf of HOA common area carpet. Product was purchased at reasonable prices for both jobs. The bedroom and bath work was scheduled first in case there were issues - glad I did this. The carpet work was nice. The LVT work was very poor. The respect to my newly remodeled bathroom was also unacceptable. Linda's partners could obviously feel their work belts hitting my freshly painted walls. Anyone who has worn a tool belt knows when you are scraping a wall. And a tub. It was a disaster. The LVT work was also a disaster. The corners around door jams were not smooth, but hacked up and filled with a terrible application of caulking. What made me the most mad is they passed their work off as complete to my wife. When I returned from an international trip shortly after, I made a call to Linda. The installer came out and made a bunch of excuses about the walls and told me to just paint the gouges before he tried to glue down the LVT that was already coming loose. In his mind, I was somehow an unreasonable customer. Of course the remediation work was poor and I wound up ripping out all their LVT work. I told them they could not use tool belts for the HOA job and they complained about it. Fired. We hired Dicks Carpet One and they picked up the carpet we bought from Pioneer. Dicks didn't complain about basic installation tasks and the result was very good- with zero damage in 3000sf of area that contained multiple tight staircases. Not one piece of baseboard tile was damaged. Like I said above, the carpet work is good, but Linda's installer partner's overall professionalism was poor, and I felt like they took advantage of my wife.

Excellent customer service! Linda made it happen! First she invited me out to too look a samples She asked me to bring paint samples and color that I would have in the room so she could help me narrow down a color and style for me. I needed the carpet ASAP! The carpet was backordered but she was able to get on it and get it done before the installation of my pool table which was key! Her lead installer Miguel knows exactly what he's doing and they a speedy and excellent install. I could even see the seems where the carpet meets in the middle of my big room. If you want good carpet and need help picking out and installing, Linda and Miguel are the best! I highly reccomend pioneer home supply for your carpet needs!

This is the 2nd time I've worked with Linda for carpet and I would never go anywhere else. Working with Linda is a breeze. She's got great selection, great prices, is helpful, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Her installers, Miguel and Fernando, the installers were punctual, efficient, experienced and did a great job. They moved all the furniture and put it back, somehow making everything look better than before. They cleaned up after themselves and made the whole process run smoothly. Impressive! I just worked with Linda for the first time with exceptional results. She was responsive, helpful, punctual, and offered useful advice in a timely manner. She offered choices with pictures on line and sent samples in the mail. Linda helped me narrow down the fabric and pattern listening to my wishes and needs. Amazingly, together we were able to make my short turn around between tenants to lay a new wall to wall carpet right in time for incoming tenants helping me to not lose a months rent in SF.
