The good? The groomer, Maria was EXCELLENT! If I go back it will be for Maria. She lovingly gave my dog the best grooming she had ever received.
The cashier in the store, who is also a dog trainer, was also amazing.
The bad?
The receptionist at the grooming station and her manager Jennifer.
Honestly, I may be a tad less offended after a day or so, however right now I am so offended and dumbfounded, I am taking the time to warn others.
After I left the store, as I walked to my car, Jennifer chased out of the store and after me with such urgency I had assumed I left something behind. Boy was I wrong! Jennifer chased after me to scold me because I had dropped in without an appointment! Apparently Jennifer thought it was my fault they were backed up. She was really unloading on me.
Apparently they had angry customers to deal with because of me dropping in.
Come on, really?
Per the website, drop ins for basic grooming needs ( my dog had the fur on her face and feet trimmed) are allowed if time permits.
When I arrived, the receptionist walked to the back room. Asked if there was time to take my dog, and the decision was yes.This was a 15 minute appointment.
I think Jennifer made that decision?
I asked Jennifer why my dog was allowed to be seen if it would cause problems. I also asked her if I misunderstood,
Were drop ins were not allowed? The website states they are.
Jennifer's response was clear. It all began to make sense, regardless of Petco's policy, Jennifer had chased me down to scold me because she does not want customers to just drop in.
It is extremely inappropriate for Jennifer to ever chase down a customer to scold them.
The added offence was that I had done no wrong?
I had left the store happy to have found Maria, who is such a great groomer.
Sadly, by the time I got to the car, I had a very different opinion.
I am very unhappy with Jennifer's inappropriate behavior.

Incredible and caring staff, highly recommend to everyone. Always professional and they do excellent work!! this is the only petco i trust for grooming, they are very busy but always worth is and worth the wait!! this was suppose to be a 5 star review!

I come here for bulk refills of unscented cat litter. I like this program as I can avoid buying new plastic containers every time. This Petco sells live animals like hamsters, birds, fish, reptiles. They also have dog grooming services and they have a kitty adoption room that is open sometimes too. I can always count on Greg to ask me if I need any help today!

The store staff had a very difficult time processing my return, and I had to wait almost an hour for them to figure out what to do.
Also, they only credited some of my order cost back to my card.

As a first time pet owner, I was very stressed about my cat's wellbeing. Gabriel was very amazing in approaching me and strategically picked out my needs with well knowledgeable answers. Gabriel was able to use his previous experience and genuine reviews of each products to my best interest. He also made sure to seek out a second review from a manager to make sure that there is no health issues when applying a Hemp product onto my kitty's food. Lili at the cash register was also a pleasure seemingly knew that I recently adopted a cat and provided her own knowledge input to help my cat ease in. I'm really happy as this is my second time visiting this location (which was lovely as well) and the experience here has been a pleasure. I will plan on shopping here as much as I can because this location has the best employees on the clock! My apologies if I spelt the employees name correctly .
