I wish I could have not even give this one star to there grooming department
I recently took my dog to Petco for a grooming session, and I am extremely disappointed with the service. I specifically asked for a trim, but they ended up cutting my dog's hair way too short. When I was dropping my dog the lady checked his body and verified there is no matting and that they are able to just trim. It was not what I requested at all, and my poor dog looks uncomfortable and depressed now. Even they cut his hair unevenly, some parts are longer some parts super short that I can see his pink skin. I expected better attention to detail and communication from a professional grooming service. I will not be returning to Petco for grooming services in the future."

I was able to find everything I was looking for very quickly. The prices were great, the store is always clean and staff is always ready to help and very friendly.

Maxine is a phenomenal dog trainer. We first met her for a 1:1 session and she immediately was able to bond with our shelter dog and teach him basic commands. We then signed up for her group classes and our dog improved so much on obedience training.
You can tell she’s someone who loves dogs. She’s able to read a dog, understand their personality, and take different approaches to training depending on their personality.
I’m planning to sign up for more classes with her.

I found what I was looking for but howsoever the checkout at the Petco in 16th Street is horrible only one cashier that took me too long and wasting too much time just to get a couple items

This place is terrible and create a huge false accusation about my pet. Never coming here again. They accused my dog for being reactive and biting their employees hand when our dog was no where near to the point he wanted to bite him. This is a huge accusation to be accused of. After all the false information, they had the audacity to ban us from the store for something we never do. This is one of the worst vets I have ever been to. Trash, miserable, horrible, unacceptable, deficient, unforgettable in a bad way, awful, and tremendously bad. Never ever come here again

Your advertised price vs in-store = NOT the same. Price adjustments can be made at register, we were told. When I realized I was a bit late, cashier said, “Too late.” 50 cents/can! Why advertise if you want to suck ppl in to paying higher prices just because they either don’t get your ads or don’t search online first???

Stay away. Go to a more reputable store.
They sent a terrible, disgusting condition puppy play pen delivery as "new".
They suggested a return online. Then, when we came into the store, they tried to reject it due to condition...which is the condition they sent it to us the day before! Absurd, almost criminally unethical behavior. They even tried to say "don't order same day delivery if you want it in good condition" -- so the manager clearly knew it was their policy to send used, disgusting products same day delivery. Totally unethical.
Absolutely stay away.
