Peet's coffee is my favorite but Do not go here if you are expecting friendly people serving you coffee.

I ordered a couple of large mochas and noticed the lady making my mochas only put in a couple half pumps of chocolate so I asked her if she was making the mochas and she said yes. I tasted both of them before I left the store. Sure enough the mochas were very weak in chocolate flavor. I asked her if she could add a couple more pumps of chocolate and she said “if you wanted more chocolate you could have asked for more chocolate.” Just then the other lady took the cups and put one more pump in while the lady who was supposed to make them with three pumps continued to say she put in three pumps. The one that put in one more pump also chimed in and yelled to me as I was walking out the door, “that’s what we do here, we put in 3 pumps”. These two women are transgender and they don’t need to be defensive or have such attitude towards customers. All they had to do was say, sorry, let me add some more chocolate instead of taking it personally. Everyone I speak to will be told what a horrible experience it was. I come to this Peet’s twice a week and twice this week my mochas were with not much chocolate. I love to see trans people at public jobs but with attitudes that are nice and welcoming, not defensive and rude and making the customers feel that it was their fault.

It's really the people that work at the coffee shops that makes the experience nice, but at this place, employees are not very welcoming, they barely greet you, no thank yous, just very dry and not friendly.Their drinks are good for the most part, sometimes come out luke warm.

Grumpy people work here, inconsistent hours. No 'medium' cups in stock for over a week. Seems very poorly managed

The Peet's store lacks energy. The cashier never said a word to the customer in front of me, and myself. They never smiled either. The lack of enthusiasm impacted my experience. The entrance area doesn't smell pleasant - almost like a urine smell. The seating area didn't feel clean, so I chose to sit on the bench outside instead. Outside, there's a trash can, so I didn't want to sit there either.I'd say the store needs a thorough cleaning, and needs some air freshener. Also, it needs some life in the store. Doesn't feel cozy, and not inviting. It's unfortunate, because I like coffee, but the experience wasn't good. Would I go back here? Probably not.

Been coming here for years, there is one barista/cashier who apparently hates her job and poses extreme Attitude. She is like this every time I come in. At least she is consistent and gives everyone the same shitty treatment. Description is not needed. 100% obvious as soon as you walk in. Hope peets can address this employee. I love the coffee but not the service...not worth coming back!

My order was totally messed up. Having ordered my wet cappuccino with 4 sugars I did receive a cup with foam and almost no coffee.Music was too loud and a hypersensitive barista dared to say I was raising my voice what is false. Also having ordered a large cup of water I received a tiny one instead. It is obvious that staff at this store NEED to improve their listening skills as well as to learn on how to receive positive criticism.I am a regular at Peets stores used to fine staff and this was my worst experience ever.

Since the previous group of employees were all let go, this location has rarely been open. Don't try to stop by for coffee because they don't have staff and are closed most days.

It’s a hit or miss but the misses are more common. I asked for an iced mocha and they made me a hot one. As a barista myself I know how important that stuff is and having good customer interactions in general. Didn’t really feel welcome

Having started writing again I stopped here for a cup of coffee, a Danish and a place to put pen to paper. I love it.

They keep changing the hours. A few weeks ago for a long time it was open until 5. Then last week or so all of a sudden it was only open until 3pm. Ok cool sure. Now today there's a paper sign that says hours are from 7:30 to 11:30am. No that's not good for customers they're losing a lot like me. A lot of people drink coffee during lunch so idk why this is happening maybe they're short staffed it always seems busy when I go in so I'm not sure why they don't hire more. I dont blame the baristas they work hard. Anyways I hope this doesn't happen to other Peet's coffees.

I used to be a morning regular and everyone knew my name and order. I always felt welcomed and the team made my mornings. I came in a few times in the last weeks and waited over 30+ mins for my order and the poor baristas were stressed and angry. I had no idea what happened to the old crew and the coffee shop that i used to loved coming into until I ran into a group of them in the plaza and told me the team was wiped out after an ongoing battle with upper management about racism and discrimination. Moving forward, I will never support Peet's Coffee again. The store made me and everyone around them feel like family, I loved coming in and cracking a smile with them but to hear how the company treated them is inexcusable. There's plenty of local coffee shops. At least you can see how much money their losing with the bogus hours they now have or just closed in general. Very well deserved, Peet's coffee. Shame on you!

This location appears to now be open at 7am, not 4:30am? There is no information online about the new hours. If this is temporary, Peet's staff (out of respect for long time early morning customers) should post the new hours clearly. Instead, when I've gone in the last week, the door is simply locked and the employees who are inside and working just ignore you. I'm now a Java Beach customer.
