I just wanted to thank the staff of Pawtrero Hill for being so kind to me during my visit to San Francisco. I was there to help watch my friend's puppy and every staffer I met was just as pleasant and helpful as could be with my many "noob" questions.

Did the self service bath for my small pup. Has all of the bells and whistles needed for a basic bath! They had, towels, brushes, soap varity, HIGH VELOCITY DRYER (my groomers understand) and even all size for nails to be clipped. Staff was very nice and helpful.

I come every 2-4wks.
Good stuff, very knowledgeable. Love that they have a bath station: $20/bath, no time limit. Multiple de-shedders and brushes. No more conditioner to use, unfortunately.
Only con is I had bought 40$ worth of treats from them and it didn't agree with my dog's stomach and they wouldn't exchange it for anything else in the store. They will exchange food, though. ??♀️

Absolutely love this neighborhood spot! It's perfect for anything you need and the staff is so friendly. We wash our husky in their pet wash stations and they supply everything! If you have a pet, you need to go here! You'll love it :)

The lady with the shortcut hair and big earlobes I found to be very rude and hostile Had an incident a month ago where my 2 friends used a spray product while they were in the process of bathing their dog. The next time we came without them was a week ago and she demanded us to leave right away because of a use of a spray not even stealing but a use of spray after a bath, but my boyfriend explained to her it was not us who used it. After giving my dog a bath, I thanked her for her understanding, but she had a bad attitude and seemed like she didn't want to hear our apology or what we had to say. My other friends went there to talk to her about the situation which they brought their own product, she was extremely rude and hostile and was talking shit to co workers saying "what you going to do", get out of my store .. ? And slammed the door on them Even if they did proceed to argue back with her, what would she going to do? Argue back or feel threatened and call the cops on 2 colored couple over the use of a spray? I've been coming here years ago previously with different owners and they were ok enough to use a spray after a bath and if we like it we'll buy it. I don't know if she has this same attitude with other customers, but as young colored adults, it doesn't seem like it. There's a certain way you go about talking to customers and explaining situations like if someone were to accidently use a spray but the way she goes about it and the tone/way she went about the whole situation was very unprofessional. If she was so worried about losing money, she shouldn't demand us not to come here anymore and lose customers who come here 2-3 times a month.

Although a bit off my path, well worth the trip. Always great staff, customers and animals. Always enjoy the visits, Great product selection. It's very much not anything like the sold-your-soul to corporate greed Pet Food Express.

Been coming here since 2011 to bathe my dogs. Occasionally tried other self-serve dog wash places, ¬hing compares to Pawtrero's! Always friendly& helpful, knowledgeable staff,friendly z
