Good stationary shop. I appreciated the big selection of pens that you can try in the store.However, there are no cheap notebooks (everything above 2-3$), I could find one cheaper in Walgreens.

I just wanted to say that I have been a Notary Public for many years. The rubber stamp can be a problem in this business. I bought my last one from Patrick and Company. I ended up having a problem getting it re-inked. I complained to them about it and brought it down to them. The very nice people that work there replaced it free of charge. I was very surprised since good costumer service is so hard to find anymore.

Must go if you're looking for a notebook. They have what looks like the entire collection of Moleskines and Leuchterm1917's. Not to mention pens of all kinds, puzzles, coloring books, calendars... Loved shopping here!

This store is one of the last of a dying breed, the stationery store, now so rare that I don’t even know of another one in the United States (surely there are some in NYC?). Patrick & Co. is a great place to find anything pen and pencil related, paper related, staple related, stamp related, letter-writing related, etc. And you can just feel the history of the store, there in downtown San Francisco right on Market. I hope this store stays open forever. I love it. It should be a tourist attraction (god forbid). Two big thumbs up (as Siskel &/or Ebert used to say)!!

Great place for gifts. They have a lot of cute books, puzzles, stationery. The selection has improved in the last couple of years. Glad they are still here

Disappointed. One of staff was nice in helping find a blank journal however while walking around, some white guy was following me and staring. I can't know if it was because I'm young or because I'm brown but either way being followed in a store as a woman feels hella messed up. And I know it's sus because he only gave up the pursuit when I was headed to the cash register. I gave the items back and let them know what's up. I will not be shopping there. Hopefully they correct themselves and get better in the future.
