Very poor customer service. I was never notified that my jewelry which I brought in to be repaired could not actually be repaired (even though they had repaired it last year) and was never notified to pick them up. They even told me in the store that they would call to confirm what the price would be prior to repairs, as well as when it was ready to be picked up. After 1 whole month I still had not heard anything so I went in today to collect them thinking that would be ample time. The lady with dreads served me and handed me the jewelry and told me the jeweler said they were too fine to fix. I asked why I had not been contacted in a whole month. I never received a missed call or a voicemail. Typically if a customer does not pick up a phone or the call does not go through, you try them multiple times. Livid that after 1 month there was no attempt to contact me and my jewelry has been sitting there. Totally rubbish customer service.

This is a gem in the neighborhood! My fiancé and I have purchased a few pieces of jewelry from Partita, and they are all wonderful pieces I enjoy wearing everyday. Partita has an impressive selection of jewelries that I know I will continue to discover and fall in love with. It just dawned on me that I could have my engagement platinum ring resized by them. No only did they do a beautiful and perfect job resizing and polishing the band, they cleaned and tightened the diamond which I forgot to mention but a true jewelry expert would spot and correct immediately! They cleaned the diamond so well I thought I got a better diamond from them!! Lol! I can't express how nice it is to be close to a reputable jewelry expert and feel confident that they can take great care of my beloved pieces for the years to come. Please support local small business!

I cannot say enough about Partita. I bought my wife's engagement ring from them, which was amazing and custom made. They also made our wedding rings. I also bought my wife a birthday gift necklace with our daughter's birth stone in the pendant. They created a beautiful pendant/disc for the stone to be held in. The jewelry decided the stone needed to be held in 24 karat gold, not 18 karat. But, they did not charge me extra because they are true craftsman. And, the stone, a garnet, is not that popular. Regardless, they ordered a variety of garnets for me to look at to chose the stone I liked best. They are not cheap like some dime a dozen strip mall jeweler but you see the difference. You get what you pay for.

The sign of a really invested business in customer satisfaction isn't the buying experience but when things go wrong. I have a very sentimental watch purchased from the store 9 years ago. It was a complex watch and through no fault of Partita it had issues requiring it to be rebuilt (twice). The most recent issue Calvin found a local watch expert to rebuild it vs sending it back the factory in Germany which took 9 months to get back the first time. This time it was just two weeks and reasonable. Btw- he negotiated a complimentary watch from the original manufacturer on my first return due to the lengthy delays. The watch has been a frustration on many levels but worth it and this store has worked very hard to do what they can to limit the pain and get it done right. I've purchased two other watches by them and would definitely recommend them as a trusted vendor.

The staff makes you feel important and appreciated. They really aim to please and are sensitive to your needs. I have absolutely loved every piece of jewelry that they have sold me over the last decade!

My husband purchased a necklace here as a Xmas gift. We live in the neighborhood, we know that local merchants are hurting due to COVID, so he thought he would give them business. When I received the necklace, I suspected it was not worth what they charged. I am familiar with Partita, and feel that they over price their jewelry. I was told they do not give refunds, but would do an exchange. I actually had an outside jeweler look at the necklace and was told Partita price gauged us! At this point, I will probably file a consumer complaint. I have purchased jewelry in the past from other local jewelers, and have always been given the option of a refund if an exchange is not possible. Most reputable jewelers will give customers a refund if they are not satisfied. Partita does not want to give their customers this option, probably because they know their jewelry is way over priced and not competitive in value! BUYER BEWARE: DO NOT BUY JEWELRY FROM PARTITA! You will get Scammed!

Incredibly happy with my engagement and wedding bands from Partita which we purchased 12 years ago. Calvin cleans them for me every time I stop by and visit the store which shows how committed they are to outstanding customer service. My husband buys me jewelry from Partita for anniversary presents and I love the quality and the innovative designs. We'd highly recommend Partita!

I've been a customer of Partita's for at least 13 years now. I've purchased items in the store and have also had Calvin custom make a couple of small pieces. Partita has always had great customer service - that's what always keeps me coming back, and I've always been impressed with the quality of their inventory and custom made pieces. Recently, I engaged Calvin to custom make a ring for me. I had a stone and an idea but Calvin made it come to life with his extensive knowledge and great recommendations. Aside from his obvious creative and jewelry making talent, the thing I love most about Calvin (and Beverly) is how they collaborate with their customers. Thank you, Calvin and Beverly. I love my ring!

Calvin and the entire staff were very friendly and helpful regarding a watch that I custom ordered for my father. They have a really interesting selection of watches that represent a great value and which no other jeweler in San Francisco sells. They're an Authorized Dealer. I was also impressed by the relationship they had with the manufacturer, since the custom order arrived within 2 days - precisely when they said it would.

Calvin made our engagement ring from start to finish. The end result is beautiful and he really took his time when teaching us about diamonds, the design process, and working to make sure the ring is perfect. If I could give a 3.5 rating, I would. I have made two purchases here in the past. First was my husband's wedding ring - an exact copy of their men's sizer rings which was beautifully done. My disappointment came when I had a custom ring created. My initial inquiry visit was great with whom I believed to be the owner. My second interaction with great when I ordered and purchased. My third and disappointing interaction came during pick up. They had the wrong ring which was two sizes larger. They called later that day to say they now have the correct ring for me to pick up. It came with little paperwork on description of the ring - minimal information was provided when I followed up via email to ask. For reference, I've had smaller pieces done elsewhere and have been provided the documentation and details of the piece. More importantly, my custom ring was mistakenly made 1/4 size too big and when your ring size is under 5, the difference is quite noticeable. They only confirmed when I asked and didn't offer to fix their mistake- just a simple "sorry about that." So, would I purchase from there again? I wouldn't rule it out. Would I purchase custom? No.

I was wandering around the neighborhood and happened across Partita. I was welcomed by a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional jeweler, Beverly. She showed me a beautiful three stone ring, and I knew that was the ring for me. Beverly was incredible - working with me to design the best ring and stay within my budget. Whenever I had a question, she was prompt to respond. From now on, I will return to Partita for any jewelry needs that I or my family will have. Thank you, Partita!
