My boyfriend and I were at the Jewelry Center for an appointment at another jeweler. After that appointment we stumbled upon Padis where we were lucky enough to meet Mindy! We quickly fell in love with her expertise and personality and will certainly be using her as our jeweler going forward. Mindy puts forward a great deal of care, experience, and attention to detail. My husband purchased my engagement ring at Padis 20 years ago. The ring was long overdue for a cleaning as well as a prong check. I worked with Mindy Fox who made the process seamless and also convinced me to get an updated appraisal for insurance. What a wonderful experience!
My husband bought my engagement ring from Steve Padis in 2012. We just love the Verragio line that they champion. When we unfortunately lost the original, we came back to Padis once more to replace the engagement ring.
Jess, what a treat it was to work with you. He serves as the Verragio Brand Ambassador. What an amazing experience. He was so knowledgeable, patient and enthusiastic. He made the experience outstanding. First, he verified our budget, showed us diamonds that were outstanding and even came in under budget. When does that ever happen in a jewelry store?
If you are looking for the best experience, Call Jess. He will make sure that you find the best ring, educate you on all the possible options and make your diamond ring dreams come true.
I'm not kidding you when I tell you this ring, that they custom made, well within the quoted timeframe, is THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THING I'VE EVER OWNED. I better not lose this one.

My husband and I have always gone to Steve Padis Jewelry for our (relatively very humble) purchases since 1992-1993. This was years before we were ever married. We were mesmerized by the enormous variety of sizes and quantity of loose diamonds to look at, back then a very memorable woman named Coke took us under her wing and made us feel like family. She, like others since, patiently taught us how to view the diamonds through a loupe and have fun in the process of dreaming and deciding on the perfect one for us.
I am compelled to review them today because of Rhea in showroom 128.
I wanted to replace something I had lost years ago and foolishly looked online for it. After purchasing what I thought was a good deal, it arrived in packaging that didn’t have that “put together with care” feel. As it turned out, the setting was loose and the part of the item was not correct for the choice I made online when ordering.
I looked up Padis online and found the same item, significantly LARGER diamond tcw for literally 50% of the price!!
I immediately ordered it, sent back the other and heard from Rhea via text just a couple hours later to help get the item to me before a trip to Vegas in 2 days!
She personally made arrangements for the immediate shipping and even upgraded the tcw due to the stock availability in her showroom.
What a lesson learned and a reminder we are like family at Steve Padis!!! ?

My fiancé and I wandered into Padis while in the Diamond Exchange in SF looking for an engagement ring and we’re so glad we did. Prior to visiting, we did not have a great experience at Brilliant Earth and other jewelers, where we felt like they either had no time for us or were just out to make a sale. Not once did we feel this way during our time at Padis. Every time we came into the showroom, we were greeted warmly and offered refreshments by their members of staff. Whether it was an appointment or drop-in visit, we were given attention or space to browse in whatever way we wished.
On our first visit, Erik greeted us immediately, and when we mentioned that we were interested in blue diamonds he just so happened to have one in the display case that we approached. We inquired about a specific type of stone—a pear-shaped blue Diamond made with HPHT process—and were provided a quote with one of their suppliers in 5 mins. Within a week we returned to view 2 different stones for consideration and browsed nearly every display to find the perfect setting. Padis carries many jewelry brands in addition to their own (even offering custom work), but the fine detailing on the Tacori bands stood out the most. In the end we selected a Tacori setting for the engagement ring and discovered there’s a reason Padis has such a wide selection of Tacori bands to browse—they’re a Tacori Blue Diamond partner, their highest tier. What an apt title, because we ended up going for a blue diamond in one of their settings.
Within 3 weeks our setting was completed and ring ready for pick-up. The ring is *stunning* and we’re so thankful to Erik & all the behind-the-scenes work of the Padis family to make this possible! Throughout our entire engagement ring purchasing journey Erik was extremely helpful, texting us updates about when the diamonds, settings, etc. would be available in store for viewing. Currently he’s even helping us with the appraisal process for our ring so we can get the ball rolling with insurance coverage.
We had a wonderful experience at Padis and highly recommend them to anyone looking for an engagement ring or other fine jewelry!

Great experience, Eric Beres helped me and my fiancé find the best ring for her. I didn’t feel pressured into spending more than I wanted to and she absolutely loves the ring! Picking up the ring felt special too as I was given several different presentation boxes and complimentary champagne and champagne flutes.

Highly recommended!!! Mindy truly took the time to listen to what we were looking for and had a huge range of options for the center stone. After choosing the stone, we then walked over to the showroom and she had grabbed options for bands without me noticing and I began to describe what I was wanting for my band and with her knowledge and expertise, she was already holding the exact setting that I described. It felt like it was meant to be. I thank Padis and especially Mindy for the exceptional ease of quality service. I hope you consider Mindy when looking for a forever ring!
