LOST HIGHEST VALUE ITEMSWe contracted Oz Moving to move us from New York to SanFrancisco, paying over $6k for the move itself. During the initialmoving phase, we were provided no information or givenadequate briefing on the company's insurance policy for lost orbroken items. Upon receiving delivery of the items in SanFrancisco, almost $5k worth of items were lost, almost all ofwhich constituted our highest value items (golf clubs, expensiveluggage, high-end vacuum cleaner). While the company hasprovided a settlement, the settlement does not even remotelycover the cost of the lost items, providing only $300 in total.When we called Oz, the settlement team noted that the salesteam is supposed to provide upfront information on theinsurance coverage and recommend a policy, but our sales repobfuscated the insurance details and coverage risks during theinitial sale process. Upon delivery, the delivery team also claimedall boxes were delivered, despite clearly not counting the boxes,and when we raised the issue during delivery, claimed that allitems in the truck had been offloaded. The company should have been more forthcoming regarding coverage and risks, and hasmade very little effort to amend the lost items.

Oz moved me from NYC to San Francisco and they truly won me over. My belongings only took 12 business days to travel cross-country and everything was in perfect condition! The foreman were professional, kind and helpful. Moving cross-country can be so stressful and I was thrilled with how easy OZ made it. Strong communication throughout the entire process!

Called to ask a question about a white glove delivery. I was met with rudeness and swearing, and was told that I was a lazy F'n easterner and that I could go F myself. If this is what you want in a business, then by all means use them in the future, but I would say not to use them at all.
