This location is hard to find and super slow. Waited 50mins to have my labs taken with zero communication from the staff and just one other person in the waiting room

Very corporate. Everything looks nice/presentable, but I’m there for good healthcare and was disappointed. In my personal opinion, they try to send referrals to their corporate partners and not what would be best for you & your insurance. And the on-site bloodwork was more expensive here then if I got it done elsewhere through my insurance. The patient is all that matters, not whatever quotas providers have to hit.If you stick with One Medical, for next referral or estimate you get, just make sure to verify that they are giving you all available options and helping you to pick the best one.

I'm honestly confused by this service. I chose it because I was having a hard time finding an available primary care dr and the idea of booking appointments on an app, especially covid tests, and having a message board intrigued me. My primary care visits are supposed to be $30 with co-pay and on my insurance I have delegated my One Medical dr (he is in network.) However, I checked my bills on One Medical and it said a 5-minute zoom call about renewing a birth control prescription was $600. How is that possible? Even if my insurance covers it, that's absurd. They aren't up front about fees and now i'm afraid to book anything with them. What a waste of a $200 annual subscription. It all seems convoluted and fishy to me.

Although I have liked their prompt service and easy of using their app, I was charged $680 for a short video consultation for the purpose of receiving a referral to a specialist. On top of that, I haven't even utilized the referral because the doc they referred me to has poor online reviews. Video consults are advertised as being free! With that aside, the reason for the excessive charge is that they classified it as a moderate to complex case. Really?! For a simple referral? Unfortunately, it was during a short period between jobs, so not even through insurance and have not been able to get it addressed through billing. Due to all of this, my husband and I have not renewed our membership.

I have sent well over 20 emails to my pcp, administration, tech asst, medical care in 3 days. ZERO RESPONSES.This has happened periodically for TEN FREAKING MONTHS. At 69, with extremely serious long covid, 100% disabled, Alone, this ongoing loss of access to care and lack of response has pushed me into Suicidality. I am completely without help. At this point I have no other recourse but to demand a call today from an SVP level professional in virtually any functional area. That's a lot of folks, so this is not a tough ask. 10 months with over 6 weeks denial of access is absolutley immoral regarding anyone. But it is murderous towards someone in my terrible situation.Current episode is 3 weeks long. I have now spent 19 hours over 3 days trying to get to my md. This is destroying any minimal health i had left. 1 month ago my md misprecribed a med that can cause problems breathing. Well, I already had that already, and am far worse now. And the tech dept has not allowed me to meet w her for over 3 weeks. I am beyond desperate.Clearly no one else can resolve this persistent malpractice level abuse except an SVP. I demand a call to fix all this TODAY. I am hanging between life and death. Now catastrophically sliding to deathHELP ME. 10 MONTHS OF BEGGING. I AM GOING TO DIE BECAUSE OF OM FAILURES AT BASIC CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS. UNBELIEVABLE.

I've been a One Medical member for several years, and over this time the organization has become more corporate, more bureaucratic and less response to member needs. In my time with One Medical I've experienced two or three major crises having to do with insurance eligibility and compatibility with my physicians group and One Medical as my primary care provider. Each time, my dealings with One Medical have been fraught with difficulty as they've gone about making self-serving policy decisions and offered nonsensical explanations as justification. The public information they provide patients is outdated and inaccurate as it's just not a priority for them. Some readers may recall earlier this year when a scandal engulfed One Medical as they offered Covid vaccines to non-members in a promotional ploy to subscribe new members while denying all their own members access to vaccinations. I could go on, but you get the drift! Caveat emptor.

One Medical makes it difficult to find out which provider is in-network and which one is out-of-network. They tell you to ask insurance how much a visit will cost and then insurance tells you to ask the doctor who also doesn't know.I got charged $400 for a 10 minute appointment where the provider (who was not an MD doctor) gave the most basic, useless advice.

This review is for the excellent service Bobby provided at the front desk this afternoon. He went above and beyond in helping me with my request. Rewind back to my experience with the One medical front desk staff in Hayes Valley yesterday, it was like night & day! The staff at the Hayes valley location try to dissuade you from coming in for any lab work or flu shot! Bobby on the other hand was polite, helpful & looks like he genuinely cared. Signing up for making this location my preferred location for the entire family!

If your looking for an urgent care that will treat you with respect and kindness and actually help you this is it. From the moment I stepped in I knew I would be treated well. I didn't even have to wait that long. And the doctor and nurse who attended to me were so nice. Overall it was a pleasant experience and this will definitely be the urgent care i will go to in the future.
