Thanks for the info! I'm from Orange County and had concerns about cycling through Golden Gate Park during the day. The guy i spoke with was patient and reassuring. Unlike the guy at American Cycles. Thanks Nomad!

Stopped by for a quick (and free) air refill for my back tire and was helped promptly and warmly by the nicest employee. They checked in on how my day was going and how my ride was. They asked several questions about my tire pressure preference before topping off both my tires. Super friendly and knowledgable. They also helped my friend pick out, try on, and purchase a new helmet and assisted with a military discount. Will return again for the customer service alone!

great shop bought two bikes for my kids. The staff is old school = no small talk --> just facts --> to the point -> great products --> sale. They explained their product, the pros/cons and price and that was it. The sales rep (young free lance writer) was awesome and so was Roger the owner.

This is by far the worst bike shop that I have ever experienced. Besides being unethical, they are overpriced, snobby and rude. Buyer beware that during your ride, your bike may fall apart thereby possibly causing serious injuries.

The two older “gentleman” working in this place cannot be less interested in customer service or helping cyclists. I came in for help with my bike because I had a blowout during my ride. They could have cared less and were so unnecessary rude. Add to that I was repeatedly misgendered and when I asked the cranky owner to use my correct pronouns he said, “whatever.” I wish I could give this place zero stars. Any other bike shop in the city would be better than this place.

Not a friendly experience. Called to inquire about getting a wheel trued and some spokes tightened. Owner/proprietor just said “No” and hung up when I asked if he had availability. Go to one of the many other bike shops in SF. Don’t waste your time here.

Great since of responsibility and service. Won't let folks leave with a disabled ride, would rather take the time then send someone on their way with goofed up headset or missing spacer. Roger does it with a since of humor, humility, and purpose.

I bought my bike in service, man! The owner is extremely rude and cranky attitude. Every conversation in person or phone call was very unpleasant.I try to support the local business during this difficult time, but this store doesn't deserve my support, not appreciate the bad attitude. Definitely, something you would avoid. This place is not like it's used to.

The experience of Roger is one I'd feel ashamed to not let the world know about. He's quite the character. I got my current mtb here, and it's quite durable and I'm loving it.

Great local shop with no hassles. My bike wheel was fixed next day and the owner will tell it to you straight if there will be lead time for repairs. In and out!

I just needed an inner tube but the friendly owners here helped me not just find the right tube but fix a totally unrelated problem with my tire! I’m definitely coming back

This Nomad Cyclery is my favorite among the rest. Visting this bike shop gave me goosebumps. This Shop is my new favorite. They were likely my one-stop-market.
