I had an issue with my car, called for roadside service and Nelson's was sent out to me. The tow truck driver left me and my child outside without next steps. he called dispatch, first tried to hand me his phone, then said she will call me. She then told me on the phone the issue was beyond them and I would have to call Geico for another tow. As I was on the phone the tow truck drove away. He had opened my car because it would not open with the key, but because there was no power I had to leave the doors unlocked and leave my car because when I call Geico back all the tows said they had no where to tow my car to. Me and my daughter were outside until about 8pm after waiting for the tow for 1 hour.... this afternoon I was able to get a friend to try to jump it and after leaving it on there for sometime my car started no problem. The tow truck driver tried to convince me that my key battery had died (it was just replaced) and that it was an electrical problem. NEVER WILL RECOMMEND NELSON'S TOW

So, here's the scene. There I was, stuck in San Rafael with a busted tire. Along comes Nelson's Towing, riding in like the proverbial cavalry with sirens blaring... well, in my head at least. And what happens next, you ask? Their very own truck catches a flat tire too, just two blocks away from where my car decided to take a road-nap. Life works in mysterious ways, eh?But wait, there's a plot twist! Nelson's takes it up a notch and hauls in one of their knights-in-shining-armor who's on his day off, no less! Come on, guy's probably just lounging in his boxers when he got the call-up! He guns it to the scene with a fresh ride, and saves the day.Then there's this lady on the phone, superhero of the call center, being as sweet as a bowl of candy. Honestly, these guys - heroes without capes swooping in to save my day!The one thing I was glad about? They didn't turn all parking ticket cobra on me, else I'd have had to put on my running shoes. No, siree - Straight up good people serving up good vibes in the business of roadside rescues.So, here's to you, Nelson’s Towing. Although, in all honesty, I kinda wish our paths don't cross again. It's nothing personal - I just prefer my tires in tip-top condition, you feel me? But hey, I'm always game for a chat on Yelp! Stay awesome!

It’s our wedding week and life has been unpredictable. We got a tow 8 min from our destination. We booked our tow truck through our Tesla Roadside Assistance for the first time. The the tow truck driver was prompt, speedy, friendly and very professional. He quickly changed out our flat for a loaner and all with a smile. I recommend Nelson’s Towing and Cornelius if you can get him!!

I was hit with a flying object ruined the front of my car on my way to San Francisco on May 31, 2023. I called my insurance and they provided me with towing. The first two towing company refused to tow me because I was like two hours away from where I was toward the city. Come to the rescue, Nelson the owner himself came to tow my car, I came along with him to the city. It was after midnight when he got to me. Nelson was very nice and understanding to what I was going through. He has empathy and very friendly. I can tell he was already tired but he came to tow my car anyway, Thank you Nelson, I will definitely recommend your great service.

This was the best service I have ever received and other than being on time and knowing what to do the man Ishmael was now 0of the nicest individuals I've ever met. My profession was traveling the world to help soldiers and their families, I say this to say that I do know people. First he was patient, stayed until I arrived because I live in a retirement community and was not any the front desk when he arrived. He did several things that most service men have never in my eyes been know how to do. I will now be without a car because my dealership will be closed until Monday but that said I'm nearly grateful this happened in order for me to meet such a fine individual.

Top notch service. Unfortunately, my car has had way too many flat tires. These guys have been very responsive and professional. One night, they were short an employee because a tow truck driver called in sick. The owner of the company got into a van and served his customers. It was rainy and miserable out. Had he not done that, we would have been stranded for quite some time. You never want to have to need a tow truck, but if you do, these guys are the ones to work with. And they don't upcharge you for Teslas, like so many other services do. They know what they're doing.

Was on my way to the hospital when my car started to billow white smoke. I knew that I had to stop driving asap when the check engine light came on but needed to get to my appointment. Luckily, I was able to stop in a safe place and called my insurance. I was told the person assisting me was going to be at my location within an hour to 90 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised to have Walter, from Nelson's Towing, get to me well before the ETA. Not only professional and nice but also a very caring person. I could tell he really wanted to help me and he got me to an auto shop just before they closed. Given my predicament, I was genuinely relieved by the help I received from Walter. If all representatives from this business are like him I highly recommend using Nelson's Towing.

Not open 24 hours called late night for auto unlock and was told they will not be able to do a unlock until morning. Well thanks guys. If my life depended on your companies help omg lol

I was in an accident and my car was not drivable. Nelson's towed my car and kept it for a few days until I could find a body shop. They were incredibly helpful, kind, and understanding during the whole ordeal. Answered any questions I had and reassured me. They made it easy to get my car to the body shop, took care of most of the details for me, which is the best when you are dealing with the stress of being in an accident. I would definitely use them again if ever needed, and definitely recommend.

After another company couldn't help, Nelson did come through. After a 2 second conversation, he was there picking up my car in 20 minutes. Little bit more expensive than the others but responsive for a Sunday too . Thanks Nelson!

I was in a bad spot that required some creative paperwork and DMV dealings to get out of. I'm really glad that Nelson's Towing was the one that I ended up having to deal with. Marina was incredibly insightful, responsive, and fair to me. On one of your worst days it makes a huge difference to be treated like a human.
