During a recent shopping excursion in Union Square, we stopped into Neiman Marcus. Situated at a prime corner of Union Square, the store's entrance immediately catches the eye with its beautiful stained glass ceiling, stretching elegantly up to the renowned Rotunda Restaurant. Upon stepping inside, we were greeted by a team of courteous and helpful staff. Their politeness and willingness to assist made our shopping experience all the more enjoyable. The store itself was impeccably clean, well-appointed, and designed for easy navigation. As we wandered the floors, we couldn't help but admire the beautiful displays showcasing their extensive range of products. From high-end fashion to luxurious home goods, Neiman Marcus offers a range of options for discerning shoppers.

This is a good tea experience... The $25 extra chocolate service was okay. I'd recommend checking out Christopher Elbow or another confectioner for top quality chocolates. There was a good portion of savory to sweet items; normally the sweet items overpower the savory, but NM did an excellent job. The chicken salad and scones were the best items on the tray. Our teas were served to the wrong individuals. It was good we caught it before everyone had theirs, bc one individual needed decaf, and she has been served a caffeinated tea. The staff were all very kind.

We were not pleased with our server. He doesn't have any sympathy. No communication. Never smile or welcome us to the restaurant. One question and one answer. Very disappointed

Beautiful location with an amazing view. The tea service was a very nice experience. The tea was very good and the finger food, pastries and sweets that accompanied the tea were delicious, fresh and more than enough. The staff were very polite and attentive. Our table was ready just in time for our reservation, we got seated right away. The location was clean

San Francisco establishment not to be missed. Very classy setting with Union Square views, attentive service, creative and seasonally fresh food and unbeatable ambience. Great place for special occasion, bringing out-of-towners for the glimpse of San Francisco still alive and kicking, or a place to treat yourself for a midweek mood booster.

Food lacked flavor and we thought we made a reservation for tea service but found out when we arrived Tea starts at 2:30p. Was not clear when we booked. Chicken salad was bland. View and Interior is beautiful and worth a visit!

Lovely setting. Nice servers, however starting clearing before all finished. Ordered a shared appetizer. It came after our main order. We ordered cocktails, and would have liked a little time before food arrived. Food came out immediately. I guess we felt so rushed, and clear when ALL at table finished. I would go back, but make it clear I want to enjoy cocktail, and not order fish sandwich.

In spite of having a reservation we were seated nearly 30 minutes late which was very frustrating. When we were finally seated, our party of 3 was smushed at a small booth meant for 2 people. I thought they would at least apologize but we got nothing. Very disappointing for NM image of excellent customer service. Our server, the food, and the ambiance were all terrific but the lack of remorse for not honoring a reservation time put a damper on an otherwise happy celebration.

The food, service and ambiance was great! I ordered the lobster club which was delicious and they let me substitute the chips for a side salad. They also gave us free chicken broth, bread, strawberry butter and chocolates! Will definitely return!

Our server Charlie was incredibly warm and inviting- we loved him!!! Aperol spritz was a bit watery, but lunch was perfect: searded salmon served over roasted beets with an apple horseradish slaw. My wife had a Ceasar salad with anchovies and chicken. She said it was pretty bland. Her lemonade was yummy, though. Service is impeccable, the views are dyno and people watching of the bougie ladies who lunch is a fun distraction. The chicken consommé to start is always delicious! This is an upscale Union Square staple. We will be back.

Appreciated the cleanliness of the place and the cool ambiance. But my experience of the department store is not good, the crew were not attentive and did not assist us with our needs.

Best afternoon tea in the City. On a rainy day outside everyone in the rotunda was enjoying a lovely tea service with popovers. The ambiance was relaxed, staff was smiling and helpful, and people were genuinely having a good time. The service itself was delicious. Would not change a thing.

We ordered soul fish, too creamy and thick sauce! I am a regular customer who goes there at least 4 times a week and you expect for regular customer there is some level of recognition at least with table assortment. Our table was in the worst location. I am thinking twice whether I should continue going to a place that your business is not appropriated!

Impeccable service as always. On this visit instead of lunch we opted for the Afternoon Tea Service. The finger sandwiches were excellent. The biscuits and scones were very tasty. The desserts were good but not out of this world good. Still great overall. The tea we had was stupendousI And each of us had our own pot enough for at least 4 cups. I would highly recommend. The staff was very upbeat... like they all wanted to be there and took their jobs seriously. We will be back.
