I could have spent hours in here! Such a great assortment of things! From quirky zines to hand crafted home goods. I left with only a few bars of artisanal chocolate and a satisfyingly large lip balm stick but would’ve had no trouble at all finding gifts for everyone in my life at Needles and Pens. Props to their buyer for curating a really fun shop!

this is one of my favorite stores on valencia! they have the cutest stuff, and the environment is so wonderful and bay area. a necessary stop if you need to pick up some craphounds or other zines, some art books, some incense, socks, or other gifties. quite a staple id say

I loooooove this place. So many things to look at. I was looking through their hair clips and didn't think I would find an english bulldog, but I did! There are hair clips with different dogs, animals, and fruits. They have handmade earrings and interesting books that u would find like at urban outfitters. the clothing was cute but pricey. they have funny mugs and notebooks. I can't wait to go back!

They moved and there's more rich yoga housewife ware but if it keeps the bills paid for the zines let's do it!!!! There are tons of legit zines - I picked up some stuff from microcosm on Native American skateboarding and roller derby girls and of course there's cometbus. Plus the kimono wear fashions are actually pretty cool.

They have a lot of interesting things, but I really liked their plant selection! I ended up getting two beautiful ones at a very reasonable price :) the cashiers were very considerate and packaged it very well for me as well

Cute lil' boutique filled with glistening goodies abound. Cute jewelry, zines, plants, trinkets, the whole shebang. It's cute. Parking is terrible, but it's the city and I'm not holding it against them, I'm just forewarning you (although I probably didn't need to, since again, it's in the city). I could've stayed there a lot longer, but I knew I would only be torturing myself, considering I can't afford the whole store. The staff there were hospitable and friendly enough, mostly talking to each other instead of pestering shoppers, which was cool. It's definitely a gift shop worth stopping by.
